Devotion According to God: How to Pray and Why!

What kind of devotion to God is expected of us? This is what Holy Scripture says: "Moses said to the Lord: behold, you say to me: guide this people, and you did not reveal to me who you will send with me, although you said:" I know you by name, and you have obtained favor in my eyes "; So, if I have gained favor in your eyes, please: open your way to me, so that I may know you, in order to gain favor in your eyes; and consider that these people are your people.

We must be totally devoted to God. This is what Holy Scripture says: "And you, Solomon, my son, know the God of your father and serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, for the Lord puts it tests all hearts and knows all the movements of thoughts. If you look for it, you will find it, and if you leave it, it will leave you forever

Jesus promised his disciples to return again. This is what Sacred Scripture says: “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God and believe in me. In my Father's house there are many mansions. And if it weren't so, I would have told you: I'll prepare you a place. And when I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to me, so that you too can be where I am.

The angels promised that Jesus would return. This is what the Holy Scripture says: “And when they looked up to heaven, during His ascent, suddenly two men dressed in white appeared to them and said: Men of Galilee! why are you standing and looking at the sky? This Jesus, who ascended from you to heaven, will come in the same way you saw him ascend to heaven.
