The feast of Christmas

Dear friend, after some meditations that we have made on the meaning of the life and actual existence of God in these days it is a must to make a consideration on Holy Christmas.

If you notice dear friend, now the word Christmas has been preceded by the word "Saint" even if of Saint in this period and in this festival there is very little left.

For work I go around a lot and I see the busy and busy streets, crowded shops, many purchases but the Churches are empty and now of the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus, few speak of it, almost none, just a few grannies who want to pass on to their grandchildren the true value of the party even if now the attention of the children is kidnapped by other material things.

Do not let the children write the letter to Santa Claus to receive a gift but make them understand that their parents give them gifts every day by sending them to school, giving them a home, clothes to dress, books, food and constant help. Many things seem obvious but many children do not have all this so make your children understand that Christmas is a party to thank not to receive.

When you prepare the dinner and make big purchases for food, don't forget that many people cannot have what you have. At Christmas it is said that we are all better but they also have to practice it therefore have less reach at the table or one more place and help the most needy certainly makes us put into practice the teaching of Jesus.

Then I would say a word about the protagonist of the feast of Christmas: Jesus Christ. Who in these days preceding the party has named this name? Many have sought gifts, clothing, hairdressers, aesthetics, beauty, but only someone has pronounced that name for having prepared the crib as a tradition but almost nobody understands that Christmas is lived the incarnation of God on Earth through the figure of the son of God , Jesus.

Christmas is the virginity of Mary, Christmas is the announcement of the archangel Gabriel, Christmas is the fidelity of St. Joseph, Christmas is the search for the Three Wise Men, Christmas is the song of the Angels and the discovery of the shepherds. All of this is Christmas and don't spend it, get ready, food, gifts, bisiness, beauty.

At Christmas, give the children a baby Jesus and explain their immense value to them. At Christmas prepare a sober table, do good and prepare a cake with candles to be chosen for your children, in fact Christmas is the birthday of Jesus.

Dear friend, Merry Christmas. My best wishes to you, hoping that Jesus will be born in your heart and you will be able to bring the value of this holiday for a whole year and not as a gift that after a day or two you already want another one. Dear friend this is Christmas a feast of God and not of men and commerce.
