Our Lady in Medjugorje tells us the importance of Mass and Communion

Message dated October 15, 1983
You do not attend mass as you should. If you knew what grace and what gift you receive in the Eucharist, you would prepare yourself every day for at least an hour. You should also go to confession once a month. It would be necessary in the parish to dedicate to reconciliation three days a month: the first Friday and the following Saturday and Sunday.
Some passages from the Bible that can help us understand this message.
Lc 22,7-20
The day of Unleavened Bread came, in which the victim of Easter was to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John saying: "Go and prepare Easter for us so that we can eat." They asked him, "Where do you want us to prepare it?". And he replied: “As soon as you enter the city, a man will bring you carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him into the house where he will enter and you will say to the landlord: The Master says to you: Where is the room where I can eat Easter with my disciples? He will show you a room on the upper floor, large and decorated; get ready there. " They went and found everything as he had told them and prepared Easter.

When it was time, he took his place at the table and the apostles with him, and said: “I ardently desired to eat this Easter with you, before my passion, because I say to you: I will not eat it anymore, until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God ”. And taking a cup, he gave thanks and said: "Take it and distribute it among you, for I say to you: from this moment I will no longer drink from the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God comes." Then, taking a loaf, he gave thanks, broke it and gave it to them saying: “This is my body which is given for you; Do this in memory of me". Likewise after dinner, he took the cup saying: "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."
John 20,19: 31-XNUMX
On the evening of that same day, the first after Saturday, while the doors of the place where the disciples were for fear of the Jews were closed, Jesus came, stopped among them and said: "Peace be with you!". Having said that, he showed them his hands and his side. And the disciples rejoiced at seeing the Lord. Jesus said to them again: “Peace to you! As the Father sent me, I also send you. " After saying this, he breathed on them and said: “Receive the Holy Spirit; to whom you forgive sins they will be forgiven and to whom you will not forgive them, they will remain unremitted. " Thomas, one of the Twelve, called God, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples then said to him: "We have seen the Lord!". But he said to them, "If I do not see the sign of the nails in his hands and do not put my finger in the place of the nails and do not put my hand in his side, I will not believe." Eight days later the disciples were at home again and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, behind closed doors, stopped among them and said: "Peace be with you!". Then he said to Thomas: “Put your finger here and look at my hands; stretch out your hand, and put it in my side; and no longer be incredulous but a believer! ". Thomas replied: "My Lord and my God!". Jesus said to him: "Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who, even if they have not seen, will believe!". Many other signs made Jesus in the presence of his disciples, but they have not been written in this book. These were written, because you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and because, by believing, you have life in his name.
UTILITY OF FREQUENT COMMUNION (From the imitation of Christ)

WORDS OF THE DISCIPLE Here I come to you, O Lord, to profit from your gift and to enjoy your holy banquet, "which in your love, O God, you prepared for the wretched" (Ps Li 67,11). Behold, in you alone is all that I can and must desire; You are my salvation, redemption, hope, strength, honor, glory. "Rejoice", therefore, today, "the soul of your servant, because I raised my soul to you" (Ps 85,4), O Lord Jesus. I now wish to receive You with devotion and reverence; I wish to introduce You into my house, to deserve, like Zacchaeus, to be blessed by You and to be counted among the children of Abraham. My soul sighs your Body, my heart yearns to be united with You. Give yourself to me, and that's enough. In fact, far from you no consolation has value. Without you I can not live; I can't be without your visits. And, therefore, I must frequently approach You and receive You as a means of my salvation, because, deprived of this heavenly food, sometimes it does not fall by the way. You, indeed, most merciful Jesus, preaching to the crowds and healing various infirmities, once said thus: "I do not want to postpone her fasts, so that they will not pass out along the way" (Mt 15,32:XNUMX). Therefore, do the same with me, You, who, to console the faithful, left Yourself in the Sacrament. You are, in fact, the sweet refreshment of the soul; and whoever has worthily eaten of You will be a participant and heir of eternal glory. For me, who so often fall into sin and so soon numb and fail, it is truly indispensable that I renew myself, that purify me and inflame me with frequent prayers and Confessions and with the holy Communion of your Body, so that it doesn't happen that, abstaining too long, I withdraw from my holy intentions. In fact, the senses of man, since his adolescence, are prone to evil and, if the divine medicine of grace does not help him, he soon falls into worse evils. Holy Communion, in fact, distances man from evil and consolidates him in good. If, in fact, I am now so often negligent and lukewarm when I communicate or celebrate, what would happen if I did not take this medicine and did not seek such great help? And, although I am not prepared and willing to celebrate every day, I will try to receive the Divine Mysteries in due time and to share in so much grace. As long as the faithful soul goes on pilgrimage far from you, in the mortal body, this is the only, supreme consolation: remembering his God more often and receiving his Arnate with fervent devotion. Oh, admirable deign of your pity towards us: You, Lord God, Creator and giver of life to all the heavenly spirits, You deign to come to this poor soul of mine, satisfying his hunger with all your Divinity and humanity! Oh, happy the mind and blessed the soul that deserves to receive you devoutly, his Lord God, and to be filled, in receiving You, with spiritual joy! What a great Lord she welcomes! What a beloved guest he introduces! What a pleasant companion he receives! What a faithful friend he meets! What a splendid and noble groom he embraces, worthy of being loved more than all the dearest people and most of all the things one could wish for!
