Our Lady in Medjugorje tells you what to do to get healing

Message dated August 18, 1982
For the healing of the sick, a firm faith is needed, a persevering prayer accompanied by the offer of fasting and sacrifices. I can't help those who don't pray and don't make sacrifices. Even those who are in good health must pray and fast for the sick. The more you firmly believe and fast for the same healing intention, the greater will be the grace and mercy of God. It is good to pray by laying hands on the sick and it is also good to anoint them with blessed oil. Not all priests have the gift of healing: to awaken this gift the priest must pray with perseverance, fast and firmly believe.
Some passages from the Bible that can help us understand this message.
Genesis 4,1-15
Adam joined his wife Eve, who conceived and gave birth to Cain and said: "I have purchased a man from the Lord." Then she gave birth again to her brother Abel. Abel was a shepherd of flocks and Cain a soil worker. After some time, Cain offered fruits of the soil in sacrifice to the Lord; Abel also offered firstborns of his flock and their fat. The Lord liked Abel and his offering, but did not like Cain and his offering. Cain was very irritated and his face was downcast. The Lord then said to Cain: “Why are you irritated and why is your face cut down? If you do well, don't you have to keep it high? But if you do not act well, sin is crouched at your door; his longing is towards you, but you give it. " Cain said to his brother Abel: "Let's go to the countryside!". While in the countryside, Cain raised his hand against his brother Abel and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" He replied, "I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper? " He went on: “What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground! Now be cursed far from that soil which by the hand of your hand has drunk your brother's blood. When you work the soil, it will no longer give you its products: you will ramble and run away on earth. " Cain said to the Lord: “Too great is my guilt to obtain forgiveness! Behold, you cast me out of this soil today and I will have to hide away from you; I will be wandering and running away on earth and whoever meets me can kill me. " But the Lord said to him, "But whoever kills Cain will suffer revenge seven times!". The Lord imposed a sign on Cain so that no one who met him would strike him. Cain moved away from the Lord and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
Genesis 22,1-19
After these things, God tested Abraham and said, "Abraham, Abraham!". He replied: "Here I am!" He went on: "Take your son, your only son you love, Isaac, go to the territory of Moria and offer him as a holocaust on a mountain that I will show you". Abraham got up early, saddled the donkey, took two servants with him and his son Isaac, split the wood for the burnt offering and set off for the place that God had indicated to him. On the third day Abraham looked up and saw that place from afar. Then Abraham said to his servants: “Stop here with the donkey; the boy and I will go up there, prostrate ourselves and then come back to you. " Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and loaded it on his son Isaac, took the fire and the knife in his hand, then they went on together. Isaac turned to Father Abraham and said, "My father!". He replied, "Here I am, my son." He went on: "Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?". Abraham replied: "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son!". They both went on together; so they arrived at the place that God had indicated to him; here Abraham built the altar, placed the wood, tied his son Isaac and laid it on the altar, on top of the wood. Then Abraham reached out and took the knife to sacrifice his son. But the angel of the Lord called him from heaven and said to him: "Abraham, Abraham!". He replied: "Here I am!" The angel said, "Do not stretch out your hand against the boy and do him no harm! Now I know that you fear God and you have not refused me your son, your only son. " Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram entangled with horns in a bush. Abraham went to fetch the ram and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son. Abraham called that place: "The Lord provides", therefore today it is said: "On the mountain the Lord provides". The angel of the Lord called Abraham from heaven for the second time and said: “I swear for myself, Oracle of the Lord: because you did this and you did not refuse me your son, your only son, I will bless you with every blessing and I will make your offspring very numerous, like the stars of the sky and like the sand on the shore of the sea; your offspring will take over the cities of enemies. All the nations of the earth will be blessed for your descent, because you have obeyed my voice. " Abraham returned to his servants; together they set out for Beersheba and Abraham lived in Beersheba.
