The Madonna appears in Egypt for an entire night filmed by cameras

Statement from the archbishopric of the Orthodox Copts of Giza.

On December 15, 2009, during the patriarchate of SS Pope Shenuda III and the bishopric of SE Anba Domadio, archbishop of Giza, the archbishopric of Giza announced that on Friday 11 December 2009, at one in the morning, it occurred the apparition of the Virgin Mary in the church dedicated to her in the Warraq al-Khodr district (also known as al-Warraq, Cairo) which is subject to our archbishopric.

Covered with light, the Virgin appeared in its entirety on the median dome of the church dressed in a shiny white dress with a royal blue belt with a crown on top of which was placed the cross above the dome. The other crosses above the church emitted shining lights. All the inhabitants of the neighborhood saw the Virgin move and appear on the portal between the two bell towers. The apparition lasted from one in the morning until four in the morning on Friday.

The end of the apparitions was recorded by cameras and video phones. About 3000 people came from the neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods and poured into the street in front of the church itself. The apparition was followed for a few days, from midnight until morning, by the appearance of doves and bright stars that appeared quickly and disappeared after having traveled about 200 meters in the midst of the songs of the festive crowd that awaited the blessing of the Virgin.

This apparition represents a great blessing for the Church and for the whole Egyptian people. God have mercy on us through the intercession of the Virgin and for her prayers.
