Our Lady of Medjugorje after 2 years welcomes the request for a miracle

This is a story of conversion, but above all of how the power of prayer and fasting changed the mood and life of a young man.

Linda is the mother of Patrick, a quiet and obedient boy, who at the age of 18 decides to move to another country to study and graduate. Once he leaves, the boy begins to associate with the wrong companies, which lead him down the path of alcohol and gambling.

Patrick graduates and continues his career as a doctor, never talking about his illness and spending his free time gambling. The family often went to see him, to talk to him and to try to get him back on track.

But nothing, the boy continues along his path of perdition. Concerned, the two women decide to entrust themselves to God and the Madonna, hoping that they will accept their prayers. So Patrick's mother and sister in October 2012 go to Medjugorje.

As they reach the grave of Father Slavko they meet on their way Sister Emmanuel who asked the women what Our Lady would ask to win this war. The boy's mother replied "fasting and prayers". Once home, they began to pray and fast every Wednesday and Friday, subsisting only on bread and water.

Prayer and fasting for 2 years

As the months passed, the prayers and fasting continued and the women noticed changes in Patrick, now they were able to communicate with him. The wall of silence was slowly beginning to crumble.

After 2 years finally the miracle happens and Patrick stopped drinking, began to lead a healthy life and returned to faith.
