Our Lady heals a woman with ALS

The story we are going to tell is about one womens sick with ALS since 2019, who saw her life change after a trip to Lourdes.

Antonietta Raco fell ill with multiple sclerosis in 2004 and could no longer walk. But in 2009 she decided to take a trip that radically changed his life.

From Francavilla sul Sinni, in the province of Potenza, thanks toJoin them managed to go to Lourdes. So she decided to immerse herself in the cave pools, where she heard her voice telling her not to be afraid of her. Antonietta was dazed and crying, she did not understand what was happening. When she dived, she felt excruciating pain in her legs, but she decided not to tell the volunteers about her.

That day Antonietta had gone to Lourdes to pray for a sick child, in the hope that those prayers would help her heal.

While Antonietta, still in the water, continued to pray for the sick child, she saw a light that spread upwards from below and saw the Madonna which urged her to carry on.

The woman walks without crutches

The journey ended and Antonietta returned home. A few days later she heard her voice again ordering her to call her husband and tell him something. Antonietta at that moment she thought she was having hallucinations due to her illness, but almost for miracle, got up and managed to walk without crutches until she reached her husband, who looked at her in disbelief fearing she would fall.

It was at that moment that she realized that the person who had managed to heal by going to Lourdes was her. Today Antonietta leads a normal life, and has decided to volunteer for Unitalsi. Doctors are still unable to give a scientific explanation to this event.

Sometimes things happen in life that it is hard to name, extraordinary events that go beyond logic, and to which not even science can give an answer.
