Sister Maria Caterina Prunetti tells of her recovery: «To the greater glory of God and the heavenly Queen I send you the narration of the marvelous healing obtained, enclosing the medical certificate from which you will detect the serious illness with which I was suffering.

Lost all hope of recovery, abandoned by doctors and resigned to the divine will, in the young age of twenty-eight, I had already made the sacrifice of life. Nonetheless I started the Fifteen Saturdays at the SS. Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii. On August 6 I felt pushed with greater faith to turn to the powerful Queen: - “Dear mother, I told her, St. Stanislaus on the occasion of your glorious Assumption begged you to come to Heaven to celebrate this solemnity, and was answered by you; I do not dare ask you so much for my unworthiness, but, if it is in conformity with your holy will and that of Jesus, I ask you for the grace of health in order to be able to serve the religious community of which I belong. " In that same moment, I cannot express what went on in me. A heavenly voice spoke to my poor heart and I heard myself say, “I want to heal you! You then correspond to grace! " The miracle had already happened! My eyes shed tears of joy ... On that same day, I was able to attend the Canonical Hours and take part in the common canteen; after a few days I resumed the common exercises, left for five years. In a word, thanks to the heavenly Benefactress I am completely healed.

All my sisters do not cease to applaud the miracle. There is nothing left for me but to correspond to the grace received. Siena - Madonna Monastery at the Refuge N. 2, 4 December 1904 Sister Maria Caterina Prunetti Benedettina »
