Our Lady promises: "What you ask with this prayer, you will get"

Holy Mary-636x340

INITIAL PRAYERS:

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

O God come to save me.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

(1 Our Father, 3 Ave Maria, 1 Gloria) (optional)

FOR EVERY TEN:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be your name, your kingdom come,
your will be done, as in heaven so on earth.
Give us today our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we forgive them to our debtors,
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Amen

(10) Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
You are blessed among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Santa Maria, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory to the Father and the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning and now and forever, forever and ever.
Amen.

FINAL PRAYERS:

Hail, O Queen, mother of mercy,
life, sweetness and our hope, hello.
We turn to you, exiled children of Eve:
we sigh, groaning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Come on then, our lawyer,
turn your merciful eyes upon us.
And show us, after this exile, Jesus, the blessed fruit of your womb.
Or merciful, or pious, or sweet Virgin Mary.

The whole Rosary is composed of 20 dozen (also defined as 20 "Mysteries").
Previously there were 15, John Paul II added the 5 Bright Mysteries
with apostolic letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae in the year 2002.

A whole Rosary is divided into four distinct parts (before 2002 there were only 3 parts).
Each of these parts is a Rosary Crown (each is made up of 5 dozen)
and you can also pray separately, at different times of the day:
1 part: five Joyful Mysteries (or Corona with the mysteries of joy)
Part 2: five Bright Mysteries (or Crown with the mysteries of light)
Part 3: Five Sorrowful Mysteries (or Corona with the mysteries of pain)
Part 4: Five Glorious Mysteries (or Crown with the mysteries of glory)

If you pray only five dozen a day (one Crown), you are used to pray the Joyful Mysteries on Monday and Saturday,
the Bright Mysteries on Thursdays, the Painful Mysteries on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Glorious Mysteries on Wednesdays and Sundays.

To say a whole Rosary:

all 20 Mysteries are recited below or divided during the day (i.e. the 4 Crowns)
If desired, only the 15 Mysteries can be recited (3 crowns in total) if the Mysteries of Light are not understood
(but all 20 Mysteries are recommended)

The order of the recitation of the Crowns is: Mysteries of joy - of light - of pain - of glory
to retrace the life of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For each crown, the "mystery" is enunciated at each decade,
for example, in the first mystery: "the Annunciation of the Angel to Mary".
After a short pause for reflection, they recite: a Our Father, ten Hail Marys and a Glory.
At the end of each decade an invocation can be added.

If all 4 (or 3) crowns are recited one after the other, without interruption of time:
INITIAL PRAYERS (the Father, 3rd Ave and Glory)
and the FINAL PRAYERS (the Salve Regina, the optional litanies and the intentions of the Holy Father)
they can be said ONLY ONCE
(The initial ones before all the crowns, the final ones after saying all the 4 (or 3) crowns.)

If the recitation of the crowns is divided into the day, as often happens,
it is good to say both the initial and final prayers at the beginning and end of each Crown.

The Madonna to San Domenico and to Blessed Alano in her promises made to those who recite the Holy Rosary with devotion said "What you ask with my Rosary, you will get".
