In the period of Lent of each year Natuzza's stigmata reddened, enlarged and opened producing blood losses and suffering. The spilled blood often generated "emographies", depicting sacred images. As of August 15, 1938, the virgin appeared to Natuzza Evolo (1924), married to a carpenter and mother of 5 children.

The seer is a humble and simple person; illiterate, but endowed with particular charisms, with an intense spiritual life and with high mystical qualities lived in poverty.

On 13 May 1987 he founded the association "Immaculate Heart of Mary refuge of souls", aimed at assisting the young, handicapped and elderly. Natuzza's is a popular religious message; it is the logic of the Lord that speaks to the poor. In addition to Jesus, Our Lady also gave Natuzza many messages. Forty-five years ago he asked her to build a church for her. On July 2, 1968 he said to her: "Pray for everyone, console everyone because my children are on the edge of the precipice, because they do not listen to my invitation as a Mother, and the eternal Father wants to do justice".

On April 17, 1981 he explains: "If it were not for you victim souls and for innocent children, Jesus would have unleashed his anger"; and again on August 15, 1968: "A day of your suffering can save a thousand souls!".

While on April 1, 1982 he announced that “Jesus is sad, the whole world renews his crucifixion; men think only of all that is earthly, neglecting spiritual things and therefore the soul. They don't realize that life on earth is short; they can earn the whole world, but if they are not with Jesus they lose their soul. Think as long as you are in time, because Jesus is good and merciful, but he says: "Do not abuse my mercy".

On March 13, 1984 he announced: "I am the Immaculate Conception, my daughter. I know you are suffering ... the Lord has entrusted you with a painful and difficult task, but do not be discouraged, there is He who protects and helps you ... With your suffering save many souls ".

Natuzza Evolo, perfect mother of five children, is, at the same time, endowed with the most extraordinary charisma, put by her with humility and sacrifice in the service of others. Natuzza does not evoke the deceased asking them to come to her, souls appear to her by their own will with the permission of God. When people ask for particular messages or answers from their loved ones passed away, she replies that this depends only on the Lord and urges to pray to Him for permission to be granted.

Since childhood Natuzza, in addition to conversing with the deceased, has manifested paranormal phenomena, all collected in numerous writings and confirmed by doctors and scholars and hundreds of witnesses.
A proof that Natuzza really sees angels, consists in the immediacy, security, intelligence and exactness of his answers given to those who are, on the other hand, completely uncertain as to what the solution to the problem afflicting him is. This type of verification, granted to an infinite number of people, includes innumerable medical consultations provided with great precision: answers regarding health, the state of infirmities, the need to undergo or not undergo surgical operations, most of which have proved accurate. Natuzza has always claimed to draw his information from the Guardian Angel, just or others and to repeat exactly what he suggests. Medical diagnoses are made by the deceased or other personalities, such as by Padre Pio. Countless people have acquired unwavering confidence in his diagnostic ability, but Natuzza has always shown material disinterest in his work, refusing rewards and offers. However, being aware of many cases of needy people, she was the promoter of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Association, which gave life, with the contribution of many, to a project of assistance work for young disabled people and the elderly through a large structure reception, managed by a Board of Directors whose president is the parish priest of Paravati, Don Pasquale Barone.
From the age of 10, Natuzza began to have small painful lesions, small holes in the wrists and feet that appeared spontaneously without a natural cause. The little girl kept the secret to herself, only her grandfather took part in it by healing her wounds. Over the years, the lesions became more extensive and deeper, also affecting the area below the left breast and the right shoulder, or all the points where tradition places the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even her husband Pasquale noticed the stigmata in the direction of the heart many years after their appearance. For a long time mysticism hid its wounds from people until 1965, when it could no longer deny the evidence.

The bilocation of Natuzza takes place in various ways, involving all the senses suitable for this purpose, that is, by means of sight and hearing, with the hearing of voices and noises, with perceptions of perfumes, with tactile sensations and during the state of sleep. Other times Natuzza leaves objective traces of its bilocative passage by modifying the environment, producing permanent physical actions, or by transporting objects from one place to another. In some exceptional cases, the bloodstains left at the place of movement of the object have taken the form of emographies, with a clear symbolic meaning. All the phenomena of Natuzza are authentic - bilocation and hemography authentic - and they would seem not to fall within the natural or paranormal range. Natuzza has never consented to collaborate in parapsychological investigations, in fact she considers what belongs to her as mystical gifts to be kept in humility. Once, a Jesuit father wanted to meet Natuzza and went to her incognito wearing civilian clothes. He talked about various things and then told her that he was getting married and that he wanted his advice on the upcoming wedding. Natuzza stood up and bowing kissed his hand. The Jesuit amazed at that gesture asked for explanations and Natuzza replied: "You are a priest!" the other replied trying to remain anonymous, but she added: “I repeat you are a priest, a priest of Christ, I know because when you entered I saw that the angel was beside you on the right. While to all the others, the laity, the Angel is on the left ”.
In some cases, many people felt that a perfume of flowers emanated from the person of Natuzza without there being a natural explanation. The perfume mysteriously releases also from the objects she touched: rosary crowns, crucifixes, and sacred images given away. The scent is felt, sometimes for a few moments, others, after some time, or it is felt simultaneously and independently by several people. And it has its own specificity: it also emanates in distant places where there is no object previously touched by Natuzza. It is very likely that this is simply the smell of holiness, an extraordinary gift that the Lord is pleased to give to his chosen ones.
Knowing it well, I believe that Natuzza possesses an admirable spiritual virtue, in the greatness of her humility and charity and, which she makes available to those who trust in her prayers, giving relief and comfort. Personally, when we met, she communicated peace and serenity as well as giving me some emographies and a crucifix that she herself carried for 13 years. For me the most precious asset. The phenomena of Natuzza can never be explained by science, neither today, nor tomorrow. The bilocation with the remote intertwining of his blood goes beyond the limits imposed by the laws of nature, as well as the emographic drawings, which overcome the barriers opposed by the folds of the handkerchief, placing themselves in a nice order inside.
The painful stigmata cannot be explained physiologically or pathologically, his angelic clairvoyance - with a very high number of successes and always oriented towards moral-religious aspects - goes far beyond paranormal clairvoyance. There are countless exact healings and diagnoses that Natuzza gives daily; a gift from the Lord, who chose her, a small woman from the extreme southern tip of our country, to communicate to men all her frankness, all her mercy.
