The most famous story of the dead resurrected by San Giovanni Bosco

Today we want to tell you about the resurrections attributed to St John Bosco between 1815 and 1888, in particular of the resurrection of a boy named Carlo. Carlo was 15 years old and attended Don Bosco's oratory.

Unfortunately the boy was very ill dying. He called Don Bosco insistently, but he wasn't there, so his parents decided to call another priest to allow him to confess.

Carlo suddenly wakes up and tells his dream

As soon as Don Bosco returned from Torino immediately went to the boy's house. As she entered, she realized that among the people present was her desperate mother in tears. The woman told her that the boy was dead 11 hours Before. At that point the saint approached the body. Carlo's body was wrapped in a funeral sheet it's a veil it covered his face. He asked everyone present to leave and had only his mother and aunt remain in the room. The saint began to to pray and after a while, in a loud voice, he said to the boy about get up.

At that point the dismayed mother realized that under the sheet the Carlo's body moved. Don Bosco tore the sheet and took away the veil that covered his face.

Carlo asked his mother why he was wrapped in a funeral shroud and seeing Don Bosco gave him he smiled and thanked her. At that point she began to talk to the saint, telling him how much he had been looking for him. She needed him because before she died she didn't have confessed everything and should have been athell.

Carlo told the saint that he had dreamed to be surrounded by one band of demons that they were about to throw it into the flames when a nice lady she told him there was still hope for him. At that point in the dream she had heard Don Bosco's voice screaming at him wake up. So he woke up.

At the end of the story Don Bosco lo I confess. All the people who had witnessed the miracle, they hadn't noticed that, despite being alive, the Carlo's body was cold.

There was a big decision to make and Don Bosco at that point asked the boy if he wanted to go to heaven or stay on earth. Carlo, serene and with tears in his eyes he told the saint that he wanted to go to heaven. He closed his eyes and died again.
