Today, Tuesday 7 September 2021, the prayer of the day that we recommend is dedicated to those who suffer. We are sure that, by reciting these words with a pure heart and a soul touched by faith, there will be improvements.

Prayer in times of suffering

Here I am, my beloved Jesus,
weighed down by the weight of my trials and my sufferings,
I throw myself at your feet,
so that you renew my strength and my courage,
while I stay here in your presence.

Let me lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart,
for only your infinite goodness can sustain me;
only your love can help me carry my cross;
only Your mighty hand can lighten its weight.

O Divine King, Jesus,
whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted,
I want to live in You;
suffer and die in you.
During my life be my model and my support for me;
In the hour of my death,
be my hope and my refuge.
Amen.
