Prayer to help those looking for work

We are living in a dark time in which many people have lost theirs work and are in a serious economic situation. The difficulties that each of us faces every day are many and in these moments it is important not to forget that we are never alone, because God is always beside us.

Unfortunately, difficulties in life are never lacking and every day we find ourselves having to face and resolve them problems, small or large, always trying to do our best, counting on us and on presence of God.

The moment that marked the lives of everyone without distinction, in an indelible way was the covid pandemic. During those two years, we saw our lives turned upside down, we distanced ourselves from our loved ones, we lost people dear to us and we faced serious economic difficulties due to lack or loss of work.

In those moments, we are there feel lost. We saw entire cities empty, crossed only by ambulances heading to hospitals. It was a really difficult time and, if possible, we continued to working from home or to follow online lessons. Unfortunately, even when it was all over, not everything went back to normal. Many people have lost their jobs because their factories, companies or shops failed to pass one crisis so large and they find themselves having to fight to support their wives and children.

In these moments we should pray with your heart and remember that Our Lady is with us, close to us, shaking our hands and giving us strength and consolation. Jesus always accompanies us, in every difficulty of life, even when he seems insurmountable.

Prayer for those who have lost their jobs

“Lord Jesus, you who are good and merciful, you who can do everything and deny your help to no one; I stand here in front of you with my heart in my hand asking for your help. You who multiplied"that bread” and you said “take and eat them all”, now more than ever Lord I need to be satisfied.

Please help me find a job; take away all the worries from my heart and give me that stability that I have been looking for for a long time; I don't want riches, but only what is enough to live with dignity and to be able to provide for the good of all my loved ones and all the people who have been entrusted to me. Lord Jesus have mercy on me, grant me this grace; I will be grateful to you by helping others in difficulty and I will offer thanks for your limitless mercy.

Amen
