The mystical testimony of Natuzza Evolo on the Guardian Angel
The Calabrian mystic Natuzza Evolo, who died in the concept of holiness on November 2009, XNUMX, was particularly linked to the heavenly spirits. Indeed with regard to all her external apostolate of relief to the many people who turned to her for advice and help, it can certainly be said that it was based above all on the gift of God to be able to constantly see beyond their Guardian Angel also the heavenly Spirits of those who turned to her.
Natuzza has always said that the depth of his answers and his advice came not from his own abilities but from being in contact with the Angels of God. Mrs. Luciana Paparatti of Rosarno declares: “Some time ago my uncle Livio, the pharmacist, was taking a cure against cholesterol. One day, going to Natuzza, I took Aunt Pina, Uncle Livio's wife, with me. When we were received, the aunt said to her: "I came for my husband, I would like to know ... if the medicines are right, if we have entrusted ourselves to a good doctor ...". Natuzza interrupted her, saying, “Madam, you are worrying too much about it. There is only a little cholesterol! ". My aunt turned all red and Natuzza, as if to apologize, said to her: "The little angel is telling me!". Her aunt didn't tell her about cholesterol, she only asked if the therapy was right and the doctor was good. "
Professor Valerio Marinelli, university professor of engineering, recognized by all as the greatest biographer of the Calabrian mysticism declares: “On numerous occasions I have personally seen how Natuzza, after having asked her a question, wait a few moments before answering, often fixing the gaze not on the person who speaks to her, but on a point close to it, but above all I have found how truly she is capable of immediately giving illuminating answers on complex and difficult questions on which those who interrogate her often know nothing, and to whom she would be difficult to answer even after long reflections. Natuzza immediately centers the problem and suggests its solution, when there is a solution; many times I was able to verify, sometimes not immediately but after a more or less long interval of time, as she was really right and had responded very well. This speed of judgment on problems of which you objectively do not possess, from the human point of view, the elements of judgment, the acuity, the intelligence, the conciseness and simplicity of your answers, are, in my opinion, entirely exceptional and superhuman, so much so that I believe they can constitute a valid proof of his real ability to talk with the Angels, pure Spirits to whom the Doctors of the Church have always attributed superior intelligence, power and holiness ".
Natuzza states that each of us has a personal Guardian Angel, who assists us throughout our existence, and even beyond our earthly life, only after reaching the final goal does our Guardian Angel return to his original place in the glory of the Father.
Mrs. Mercuri of Rosarno testifies: “Once, while I was going to Mileto, I passed by Natuzza, together with my daughter Cinzia, who was then eight years old. I asked Natuzza: "Natuzza, do you see something?" and she: "Yes, I see the Angel of the little girl". "Yes?", She and I say to my daughter: "Listen, why are you replying badly to your mom?". And I: "Yes, sometimes he answers me in such a rude way that he looks like a little devil!". And Natuzza: “You don't need to tell me, the Angel is telling me. You don't have to answer your mom like that, you have to be kinder! " A week later, around ten o'clock in the morning, while we were at home, Cinzia, I no longer remember why, gave me a rude answer. I said to her: "But why are you doing this, if Natuzza was here now, she would tell you that instead of the Angel, you have the devil!". Cinzia, angry, replied: "Stop it with Natuzza!" and I: "Do you want to see what time I call you and answer me?". Cynthia suddenly said, "Call her!" and I: "Natuzza, see how Cinzia does, give a sign in the bathroom!". Suddenly, a few moments later, we hear a violent, dry and loud noise coming from the bathroom sink, which puts a great fear on us. Some time later I went back to Natuzza, but I didn't think of that fact in the least. Natuzza said to me: "Madam, first you call me and then you get scared!". "But when, Natuzza?". And she: “Don't you remember? When you called me for the little girl, for the Angel! I was present! ".
Ms. Rosa Galeso of Gioia Tauro said: “When I was a girl, I was rejected in the middle school exam. I retired and the following year I presented myself as external. I had prepared myself, but I was very worried about math, of which I knew very little. The written test was passed to me by a partner, but then it was time for the oral tests. The teacher gave me an expression to develop, but I didn't know where to start. At one point I felt like I was getting carried away by someone and I did the whole exercise perfectly. I, while this was happening, I became completely red with shame because I thought that my mother must have recommended me with the teacher and that, taking my hand with hers, she was helping me in that strange way. But as soon as the whole exercise was done, I realized that the teacher was intent on talking to a colleague of hers and didn't mind me at all. I was promoted thanks to that mysterious help. Many years later, I told Natuzza this episode, and she explained to me: “It was your Guardian Angel. Always pray to the Guardian Angel, why don't you ever pray to him? ”.
Mrs. Anna Suriano of Vibo Valentia narrated: “One evening I was desperate because my son was very ill, with breathing difficulties. I began to invoke Natuzza saying: "Natuzza, you help everyone, pray also for my son, send the Angel to help him!". Then I fell asleep, but, during the night, I woke up and saw right in the corner of the room, a wonderful child, dressed in white, more beautiful than all the beautiful children I had ever seen, slowly descending downwards, as if floated in the air. He had wings and a burning candle in his hands. I exclaimed: "Help, help my baby!". And he immediately disappeared. Natuzza later explained to me that it was my son's little angel who showed up to calm me down. "
Among the pages found by Don Giovanni Capellupo, confessor of Natuzza, we have this testimony on the relationship of the woman with the celestial spirits: "Natuzza said to me:" Saturday evening June 22, 1946 I saw the Madonna and asked her to give me an answer. He replied: "In a moment I will send you the Guardian Angel and he will tell you what I said to him." Then I asked her why she didn't say anything to me anymore and she replied that she had to go. I asked her why she didn't give me the blessing like the other times and if the reason was due to some sin and she replied to always keep me in the same way that the holy blessing would always give me. Then he disappeared. It was raised a few meters in the middle of the room and I was near the window. After a while the Angel appeared. As soon as I saw him I was scared and he said to me: "Calm down, don't be afraid. I am the Guardian Angel. Do you love Jesus? ". "Yes," I replied. "Do you love the Madonna?". "Yes," I replied. "They too loved you and love you," then, referring to a young man's questions, he said to me: "No one better than me can read his thought. We all like his ideal, but it is very complicated. " Our Lady said about this young man: “He wants to be faithful with the Madonna and with Jesus, but he must really offer his heart, so that everything he wants to do is confirmed by Jesus Christ. May he pray, give good examples, be humble and charitable, thus demonstrating that he is a faithful child to God and Our Lady ”. Then he said to me: "Always be good, humble and charitable." I replied: "If I am poor, how can I do charity?" and the Angel, smiling, replied thus: “It is better to be poor in earthly riches and not in soul and faith. Pray for the whole world. It is the best charity. Tell them to all the faithful of Mary who pray if they want the divine King Savior to give satisfaction to their hearts. " Then I asked him what Angel he was and he replied that he was the Guardian Angel of the young man and disappeared ”.
Once a Jesuit Father wanted to meet Natuzza and went to her incognito, wearing civilian clothes. He talked about various topics and then, after telling her that he was getting married, he asked her for advice and an opinion on his impending wedding. Natuzza then stood up and, bowing, kissed his hand. The Jesuit, amazed at that gesture, asked for explanations and Natuzza replied: "You are a priest". The priest replied that it was not true but Natuzza added: “I repeat to you that you are a priest, a priest of Christ; I know because when you entered I saw that the Angel gave you the right. While with all the others the Angel is on the left ".
Carmela D'Amato of Vibo Valentia said: “On Sunday 11 December 1988 Natuzza gave me a closed letter, asking me to read it to her. I opened it and saw that it was a letter in French, which had been sent to her from a Carmelite monastery. I read the text aloud, and, to my amazement, I found that Natuzza, as a simultaneous interpreter, immediately after my reading of each single sentence, gave the perfect Italian translation, without omitting any words ". The lady in question reports the French text of that letter, and undoubtedly some words are difficult to translate without a dictionary, even for those who have studied French well in school. As is well known, Natuzza was illiterate and hardly spoke the Italian language, let alone French!
Again Professor Marinelli says: "On 25/6/1985 Natuzza told us:" I see the Guardian Angel of almost all the people who come to me. Of some I do not see it, or do not always see it, but this does not mean that the Angel is not there, but for reasons that I do not know it does not show up for me. I repeat only what the Angel tells me. For example, if a mother sometimes asks me: "What did my son die from?", And says this to prove me, the Angel replies: "You already know it!", And I say to that person: "You know it ".
Natuzza claims to see the Angels in the form of beautiful, bright children, raised from the ground. This vision is very similar to the Angel as described by Santa Francesca Romana. Furthermore Natuzza, as Padre Pio did, urges the people who turn to her, to ask for her help and prayers through her Guardian Angel.
In this regard Professor Tita La Badessa of Vibo Valentia recalls: “One day I was very worried because my mother, who was ill, was in Milan with a cousin of mine and I was unable to call her: the phone was always busy. I feared that perhaps my mother had been rushed to hospital. Natuzza was on vacation and had not yet returned to Paravati. Then I prayed to my Guardian Angel: "Tell her to Natuzza that I'm desperate!". After a while I felt an inner tranquility pervade me, as if someone were saying to me: "Keep calm", and it occurred to me that perhaps my cousin's phone was simply out of place. After five minutes my relatives from Milan phoned me and explained that their phone, unbeknownst to them, was out of place, and nothing serious had happened. Then when I saw Natuzza I said to her: "Did the Angel call you the other day?" And she: "Yes, she said to me:" Tita invokes you, she is worried! ". You saw that everything was settled! Do you need to get so worked up every time? ”.
Always Professor La Badessa: “One night I was alone at home and, since it was the first time I slept alone, I was uneasy. I didn't know what to do and turned the light on and off. Then I decided to go to bed, but as I couldn't fall asleep, I took the cards and started playing alone, but the restlessness didn't want to leave. At a certain point, past midnight, I said to my Guardian Angel: "Angel, tell him to tell Natuzza, that I can't take it anymore!". Shortly afterwards, suddenly, I felt serene and indeed I seemed to perceive the presence of Natuzza. It seemed to me, even if I didn't see it with my eyes, that she had sat on the armchair next to my bed and that she had her feet crossed, as she uses, and with her arms folded. I relaxed and gradually fell asleep. Then when I met Natuzza in flesh and blood, I asked her if she had really come to me, and she replied: “The Angel woke me up while I was sleeping. Wake up, wake up, Tita needs you and invokes you ", so I came to you and I kept you company, until you fell asleep". "But were you sitting on the armchair?". "Yup".
Dr. Salvatore Nofri of Rome testifies: “I was in my home in Rome, nailed to bed for several days because of a low back pain that prevented me from walking. Depressed and embittered to be unable to visit my mother, hospitalized on the evening of September 25, 1981, at XNUMX:XNUMX pm, after reciting the Rosary, I asked my Guardian Angel to go to Natuzza. I turned to her with these precise words: "Please go to Paravati to Natuzza, tell her to pray for my mother and to give me, with a sign at her pleasure, the confirmation that you have obeyed me". It had not been five minutes since the sending of the Angel that I perceived a wonderful, indefinable perfume. I was alone, there were no flowers in the room, but I, for over a minute, breathed perfume: as if a person, near my bed, from the right, breathed perfume towards me. Touched I thanked the Angel and Natuzza with five Glorias ”.
Ms Silvana Palmieri of Nicastro says: “I had known Natuzza for a few years and I knew by now that whenever I needed her intercession for a Grace, I could turn to her with confidence. In 1968, while we were on holiday in Baronissi (SA), during the night my daughter Roberta was struck by a sudden illness. Concerned, I turned to my Guardian Angel so that she could notify Natuzza. After about twenty minutes the girl was already better. On our return from the holiday we went to find, as is our habit, Natuzza. She herself, at a certain point, said, specifying the time, that she had received my call through the Angel. So many other times this has happened, and every time we saw each other, it was always she who told me that she had received my thoughts for her ".
