Your prayer today: January 23, 2021

Because the Eternal, your God, is the one who comes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you the victory. " - Deuteronomy 20: 4

Don't look at your prayer life as a small, unimportant ministry. The enemy knows very well how powerful you are in tearing down its strongholds, and will try to intimidate you, discourage you, divide you or defeat you. Don't accept his lies.

"Doubt. Hoax. Discouragement. Division. It is time for the church to stop accepting these enemy attacks as natural. Spiritual warfare is a reality facing the church. It will not go away by itself, but it can be addressed through prayer “.

Love God with all your heart and abide in Him - Loving and abiding in God is so important to having the prayer answered. Personally I am, by nature, a warrior but my relationship with God is the best antidote to the enemy's flaming missiles. We need to know God intimately and abide in that intimacy every day.

"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for what you want and it will be given to you" - (John 15: 7).

Pronounce God's attributes and praise him daily in prayer - worship is a powerful form of warfare. Praying and chanting aloud about God's greatness in times of emotionally depressed makes a huge difference. Your heart begins to lift, your feelings change, and you see God's sovereignty and greatness.

Here is a prayer you can pray for victory over the enemy's schemes:

Lord, thank you for your greatness. Thanks that when I am weak, you are strong. Lord, the devil is plotting and I know he wishes to stop me from spending time with you. Don't let him win! Give me a measure of your strength so I don't give in to discouragement, deceit and doubt! Help me honor you in all my ways. In the name of Jesus, amen.
