The guardian angel is our defending angel. that's how

The angel is also our defender who never abandons us and protects us from all power of the evil one. How many times will he have freed us from the dangers of soul and body! How many temptations will have saved us! For this we must invoke him in difficult moments and be grateful to him.
It is said that when Pope St. Leo the Great left Rome to speak with Attila king of the Huns, who wanted to take and plunder the city in the fifth century, a majestic angel appeared behind the Pope. Attila, terrified of his presence, commanded his troops to withdraw from that place. Was he the Pope's Guardian Angel? Surely Rome was miraculously saved from a terrible tragedy.
Corrie ten Boom, in his book "Marching Orders for the End Battle" says that, in the mid-twentieth century, in Zaire (now Congo), during the civil war, some rebels wanted to take a school run by missionaries to kill them all together with the children they would find there, however, were unable to enter the mission. One of the rebels later explained, "We saw hundreds of soldiers dressed in white and had to desist." The angels saved the children and missionaries from safe death.
Santa Margherita Maria de Alacoque tells in her autobiography: «Once the devil threw me down from the top of the stairs. I held in my hands a stove full of fire and without it spilling or that I suffered any harm, I found myself at the bottom, although those who were present believed that I had broken my legs; however, in falling, I felt supported by my faithful guardian angel, as the rumor circulated that I often enjoyed his presence ».
Many other saints speak to us of the help received from their guardian angel in times of temptation, such as St. John Bosco, to whom he manifested himself under the figure of a dog, whom he called Gray, who defended him from the powers of his enemies who wanted to kill him . All the saints asked angels for help in times of temptation.
A contemplative religious wrote to me the following: "I was two and a half or three years old, when the cook of my house, who looked after me when she was free from her homework, took me to church one day. She took Communion, then took off the Host and placed it in a booklet; then he hurried out, carrying me in his arms. We reached the house of an old sorceress. It was a filthy hut full of dirt. The old woman placed the Host on a table, where there was a strange dog and then stabbed the Host several times with a knife.
I, who for a young age knew nothing of the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, at that moment I had the unequivocal certainty that in that Host there was Someone alive. From that Host I felt a wonderful wave of love come out. I felt that in that Host there was a living being in agony for that outrage, but at the same time he was happy. I went over to collect the Host, but my maid stopped me. Then I raised my head and saw very close to the Host that dog with open jaws that with the eyes of fire wanted to devour me. I looked behind as if for help and saw two angels. I think they were the guardian angels, mine and that of my maid, and it seemed to me that they were the ones who moved my maid's arm to get away from the dog. So they freed me from evil. "
The angel is our protector and will be of great help to us,
if we invoke him.
