The appearance of Padre Pio to a girl who prayed for the arrival of a little brother

My wife Andrea and I underwent a fertility treatment for four years. (...) Finally, in 2004, our daughter Delfina María Luján was born. Three years later, after having hoped, deluding us, in the arrival of the second, Andrea lost him. It was a very hard blow. (...) we went to Salta, in Tres Cerritos, where more than 60.000 people gather to pray the Holy Rosary in honor of the Immaculate Mother of the Divine Eucharistic Heart of Jesus (...) So I saw that my sister María, a servant at the center he took a holy picture of Padre Pio from his pocket and gave it to Andrea to pray to him. Back home, Delfina, only three and a half years old, told us in the car that she had just seen a friar behind the tree where her mother had sat. We did not give importance to this fact, thinking that it was a typical fantasy of a girl of her age. But later, when telling the episode to my sister María, she explained that many people had seen Padre Pio right next to the same tree. (...) Our prayers to the Saint of Pietrelcina were very soon accepted, because the following month we learned that Andrea was pregnant again. The probable date of delivery was to be September 23. The same day that Padre Pio died. We decided that, if it had been a boy, we would have called him Pio; and, in case it was a girl, Pia. (...) Since Pío Santiago was born on August 23st, we decided to baptize him on September XNUMX, in the church of San Pio, near La Plata. Later, we sent a copy of the registration of the ceremony to San Giovanni Rotondo, as a sign of thanks.
