The 15 Orations of Santa Brigida

Promises of Jesus
1. Freedom from purgatory of 15 souls of his race;
2. And 15 righteous of his race will be confirmed and preserved in grace;
3. And 15 sinners of his race will be converted;
4. The person who says it will have the first degree of perfection;
5. And 15 days before dying she will receive my precious body, so that she will be freed from eternal hunger and drink my Precious Blood so that she will not thirst eternally;
6. And 15 days before dying he will have a bitter contrition of all his sins and perfect knowledge of them;
7. I will put the sign of my victorious cross in front of you to help you and defend it against the attacks of your enemies;
8. Before her death I will come to her with my beloved and most beloved Mother;
9. And I will graciously receive her soul and lead her to eternal joys;
10. And by leading her there, I will give her with singular trait to drink at the source of my Deity, what I will not do with those who have not recited these prayers;
11. I will forgive all sins to anyone who has lived in mortal sin for 30 years if he devoutly says these prayers;
12. And I will defend him from temptations;
13. And I will keep his five senses;
14. And I will keep him from sudden death;
15. And I will save his soul from eternal pains;
16. And the person will get everything he asks of God and the Virgin Mary;
17. And if he lived, always according to his will and if he had to die the next day, his life will be prolonged;
18. Every time he recites these prayers he will gain indulgences:
19. And she will be sure to be added to the choir of the Angels;
20. And whoever teaches these prayers to another will have endless joy and merit which will be stable on earth and will last eternally in Heaven;
21. Where these prayers are and will be said, God is present with his Grace.

O God come to save me
O Lord, make haste to help me
Invocation to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, send us a ray of your light from Heaven. Come, father of the poor, come, giver of gifts, come, light of hearts. Perfect comforter, sweet host of the soul, sweet relief. In fatigue, rest, in the heat, shelter, in tears, comfort. O most blessed light, invade the hearts of your faithful inwardly. Without your strength, nothing is in man, nothing without fault. Wash what is sordid, wet what is arid, heal what is bleeding. It folds up what is rigid, warms up what is cold, straightens out what is sidetracked. Give to your faithful who only in you trust your holy gifts. Give virtue and reward, give holy death, give eternal joy. Amen.
Glory to the Father
Apostolic Creed: I believe in God the almighty Father, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, (bowing his head) who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate was crucified, died and was buried; descended into hell; on the third day he rose from the dead; he went up to heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Almighty Father; thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the remission of sins, the resurrection of the flesh, eternal life. Amen.
I Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, eternal sweetness of those who love you, and who hope in you, true joy, desire, salvation and love of those who repent, you who said: "My delights are with the children of men", and you made yourself man for their salvation; remember your love that pushed you to take our human nature and everything you endured from the beginning of your Incarnation to the full fulfillment of the Father's will on the cross.
Remember the pain of your soul, when you said, "My soul is sad to the death", remember that you gave your Body and Blood as food and drink to your disciples and washed their feet, teaching them the truth about love as a gift and service.
Remember the fear, anguish and pain that you endured in the most holy body, before climbing on the scaffold of the cross, when, after praying three times to the Father, shedding sweat and blood, you were betrayed by one of your disciples, accused by false witnesses and unjustly sentenced to death by three judges; in the most solemn time of Easter, betrayed, mocked, stripped of your clothes, blindfolded and slapped, tied to the column, scourged and crowned with thorns.
In memory of these pains, please grant me, very sweet Jesus, before my death, true repentance, a sincere confession and the remission of all my sins. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner. Amen.
