The beauties to follow in life said by John Paul II

OF MINA DEL NUNZIO

WHAT ARE THE BEAUTIES TO FOLLOW?

According to this man, one must love the beauty of creation, the beauty of poetry and art, the beauty of love. Karol Wojtyla was born on May 18, 1920. A hundred years ago. in Katowice, not far from Krakow, Prayer, action and thought were one in him. The thirst to proclaim the Gospel to the ends of the earth (he made 104 apostolic journeys outside Italy) led him to be the first global Pope in history. His personality deeply marked the twentieth century, "the century of martyrdom".

Freedom, peace and justice: it gave a voice to the persecuted of the last century and was decisive for the fall of the Wall and the end of the Cold War. Revolutionizing the minds of many young people who had imbroduced a revolutionary spirit dictated by what was the era of "flowers" has made our history and our beauty not only spiritual, I would say social in many respects.

PRAYER WRITTEN BY JOHN PAUL II
Make us, O Lord,
good Samaritans,
ready to welcome,
cure and console
how many we meet in our work.
Following the example of medical saints
that preceded us,
help us to offer our generous contribution
to constantly innovate health facilities.
Bless our studio
and our profession,
illuminates our research
and our teaching.
Finally grant us that,
having constantly loved and served You
in suffering brothers,
at the end of our earthly pilgrimage
we can contemplate your glorious face
and experience the joy of meeting you,
in your Kingdom of infinite joy and peace. Amen.
