The characteristics that a true Christian person must have

Some people may call you a boy, others may call you a young man. I prefer the term young because you are growing up and you are becoming a true man of God. But what does it mean? What does it mean to be a man of God, and how can you start building on these things now, while in your teens? Here are some characteristics of a devoted man:

Keeps his heart pure
Oh, those stupid temptations! They know how to hinder our Christian journey and our relationship with God. A divine man strives to have purity of heart. He strives to avoid lust and other temptations and works hard to overcome them. Is a holy man a perfect man? Well, unless it's Jesus. So there will be times when a divine man makes a mistake. However, work to make sure those mistakes are kept to a minimum.

Keeps your mind sharp
A divine man wishes to be wise so he can make good choices. Study your Bible and work hard to become a more intelligent and disciplined person. He wants to know what's going on in the world to see how God's work can do. He wants to know God's response to any situation he may encounter. This means spending time studying the Bible, doing homework, taking school seriously, and spending time in prayer and church.

It has integrity
A divine man is one who emphasizes his integrity. Strive to be honest and fair. He works to develop a solid ethical foundation. He has an understanding of divine behavior and wants to live to please God. A divine man has a good character and a clear conscience.

Use your words wisely
Sometimes we all talk out of turn and often we are faster to talk than to think about what we should say. A divine man emphasizes speaking well with others. This does not mean that a divine man avoids the truth or avoids confrontation. In fact, he works to tell the truth in a loving way and in a way that people respect him for his honesty.

Works hard
In today's world, we are often discouraged from hard work. There seems to be an underlying importance placed on finding an easy way through something rather than doing it right. Yet a divine man knows that God wants us to work hard and do our job well. He wants us to be an example to the world of what good hard work can bring. If we start developing this discipline at the beginning of high school, it will translate well when we enter college or the workforce.

He is dedicated to God
God is always a priority for a divine man. Man looks to God to guide him and direct his movements. He relies on God to provide him with an understanding of situations. He devotes his time to divine work. Devout men go to church. They spend time in prayer. They read the devotions and reach the community. They also spend time developing a relationship with God. These are all easy things you can start doing right now to grow your relationship with God.

It never gives up
We all feel defeated in times when we just want to give up. There are times when the enemy enters and tries to take God's plan away from us and places barriers and obstacles. A divine man knows the difference between God's plan and his. He knows how to never give up when it is God's plan and persevere in a situation, and he also knows when to change direction when he allows his mind to hinder God's plan. Developing tenacity to move forward is not easy in high school, but starting small and try.

It gives without complaints
The company tells us to always look for the n. 1, but who is actually the n. 1? And me? It should be, and a divine man knows it. When we look to God, it gives us a heart for giving. When we do God's work, we give to others, and God gives us a heart that flies when we do it. It never seems like a burden. A divine man gives his time or money without complaining because it is the glory of God that he seeks. We can start developing this altruism by getting involved now. If you have no money to give, try your time. Take part in an awareness program. Do something and return something. It's all for the glory of God and meanwhile help people.
