The ten rules for being a Christian who brings joy

The decalogue of joy

(Msgr. Girolamo Grillo)

Christ asks you to be a man or woman capable of bringing joy:

1 - asks your eyes to look at the reality of the world without closing in on yourself;

2 - the mind asks you to devise jokes and humorous jokes in order to be able to make those who cry smile;

3 - asks you to listen and make others' problems your own, forgetting your bitterness;

4 - asks your back to help your brothers to carry the cross, without bothering you much than what you already carry;

5 - asks you for your arms to lift the weights that others cannot remove, fearing to be crushed under them;

6 - asks for your feet to go to the sufferer and bring a smile;

7 - asks your heart to love those who have never received a caress and those who struggle among the troubles;

8 - asks your mouth to pronounce words of encouragement and consolation in order to restore confidence in life;

9 - asks you the intelligence and the will to become salt of the earth where everything seems insipid;

10 - he asks you not to remain indifferent to the brother who cannot get out of the darkness in which he struggles and to be like the light of the sun and the air you breathe for him.

You will bring joy and warmth, but remember to always hide like a violet in a large lawn, of which everyone smells the perfume, but that nobody can find.
