Rosary

The apparition of Mary to Blessed Alan

In 1460, while he was reciting the Rosary in the church of Dinan, in Brittany, Alano De La Roche, a man who at the time was suffering from spiritual dryness, saw the Virgin Mary kneel in front of him, as if asking for his blessing. Struck by the vision, Alano had the confirmation that Mary was willing to intervene in the lives of men to save them from sin and to lead them to Christ.

The Apparition was so extraordinary that Alano decided to devote his whole life to spread the cult of the Rosary and devotion to Mary all over the world. He also wrote a booklet, where he explained his mystical experience and the importance of praying the Rosary for the salvation of souls.

So it was that after 7 years of hell Alano began a new life. One day while he was praying to Mary he revealed to him 15 promises related to the recitation of the Rosary. Mary promised in these 15 points to save sinners, the glory of heaven, eternal life and many other blessings.
