Maria Consolata Betrone was born in Saluzzo (Cn) on April 6, 1903.
After the militancy in the Catholic Action, in 1929 he entered the Capuchin Poor Clares of Turin with the name of Maria Consolata.
She was a cook, concierge, slipper and also secretary. Transferred in 1939 to the new monastery of Moriondo di Moncalieri (To) and favored by visions and locutions from Jesus, it was consumed for the conversion of sinners and the recovery of consecrated persons on July 18, 1946. The process began on February 8, 1995 for his beatification.

For many years Sister Consolata had prayed for the conversion of one of her brothers, Nicola. In June 1936 Jesus confided to her: "Every act of your love attracts loyalty in you, because it attracts Me who am loyalty ... Remember it, Consolata, that I have given you Nicola and I will give you your" Brothers "only for the incessant act of love ... because it is the love that I want from My creatures ... ".
