The six promises of Our Lady for those who do this devotion
THE GREAT PROMISE OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
THE FIRST FIVE SATURDAYS
Our Lady appearing in Fatima on June 13, 1917, among other things, said to Lucia:
“Jesus wants to use you to make me known and loved. He wants to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world ”.
Then, in that apparition, he showed the three seers his Heart crowned with thorns: the Immaculate Heart of the Mother embittered by the sins of the children and by their eternal damnation!
Lucia recounts: “On December 10, 1925, the Most Holy Virgin appeared to me in the room and beside her a Child, as if suspended on a cloud. Our Lady held her hand on his shoulders and, at the same time, in the other hand she held a Heart surrounded by thorns. At that moment the Child said: "Have compassion on the Heart of Your Most Holy Mother wrapped in the thorns that ungrateful men continually confiscate from him, while there is no one who does acts of reparation to snatch from Her."
And immediately the Blessed Virgin added: “Look, my daughter, my Heart surrounded by thorns that ungrateful men continually inflict with blasphemies and ingratitudes. At least console me and let this be known:
To all those who for five months, on the first Saturday, will confess, receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary and keep me company for fifteen minutes meditating on the Mysteries, with the intention of offering me repairs, I promise to assist them in the hour of death with all the graces necessary for salvation ".
This is the great Promise of the Heart of Mary which is placed side by side with that of the Heart of Jesus.
To obtain the promise of the Heart of Mary the following conditions are required:
1 Confession, made within the previous eight days, with the intention of repairing the offenses made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. If one forgets to make such an intention in confession, he can formulate it in the following confession.
2 Communion, made in God's grace with the same intention of confession.
3 Communion must be made on the first Saturday of the month.
4 Confession and Communion must repeat for five consecutive months, without interruption, otherwise one must start again.
5 Recite the crown of the Rosary, at least the third part, with the same intention of confession.
6 Meditation, for a quarter of an hour keep company to the Most Holy Virgin meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.
A confessor of Lucia asked her why the number five. She asked Jesus, who replied: “It is a matter of repairing the five offenses directed to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. 1 The blasphemies against his Immaculate Conception. 2 Against his virginity. 3 Against her divine motherhood and the refusal to recognize her as the mother of men. 4 The work of those who publicly infuse indifference, contempt and even hatred against this Immaculate Mother into the hearts of the little ones. 5 The work of those who offend her directly in her sacred images.
TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY FOR EVERY FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
Immaculate heart of Mary, behold you before the children, who with their affection want to repair the many offenses brought to you by many who, being your children too, dare to insult you and insult you. We ask you for forgiveness for these poor sinners our brothers blinded by guilty ignorance or passion, as we ask you for forgiveness also for our shortcomings and ingratitudes, and as a tribute to reparation we firmly believe in your excellent dignity at the highest privileges, in all dogmas that the Church has proclaimed, even for those who do not believe.
We thank you for your countless benefits, for those who don't recognize them; we trust you and we pray to you also for those who do not love you, who do not trust your maternal goodness, who do not resort to you.
We gladly accept the sufferings that the Lord will send us, and we offer you our prayers and sacrifices for the salvation of sinners. Convert many of your prodigal children and open them to your heart as a safe refuge, so that they can transform the ancient insults into tender blessings, indifference into fervent prayer, hatred into love.
Deh! Grant that we do not have to offend God our Lord, already so offended. Obtain for us, for your merits, the grace to always remain faithful to this spirit of reparation, and to imitate your Heart in the purity of conscience, in humility and meekness, in love for God and neighbor.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, praise, love, blessing to you: pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen
ACT OF CONSECRATION AND REPAIR TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
Most Holy Virgin and our Mother, in showing your Heart surrounded by thorns, a symbol of blasphemies and ingratitudes with which men repay the subtleties of your love, you asked to console and repair yourself. As children we want to love and console you always, but especially after your motherly wailing, we want to repair your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart that the evil of men hurts with the prickly thorns of their sins.
In particular, we want to repair the blasphemies spoken against your Immaculate Conception and your Holy Virginity. Unfortunately, many deny that you are Mother of God and do not want to accept you as the tender Mother of men.
Others, not being able to directly outrage you, by discharging their satanic anger by profaning your Sacred Images and there is no shortage of those who try to instill in your hearts, especially innocent children who are so dear to you, indifference, contempt and even hatred against of you.
Most holy Virgin, prostrate at your feet, we express our pain and promise to repair, with our sacrifices, communions and prayers, many sins and offenses of these ungrateful children of yours.
Recognizing that we too do not always correspond to your predilections, nor do we love and honor you sufficiently as our Mother, we implore merciful forgiveness for our faults and coldness.
Holy Mother, we still want to ask you for compassion, protection and blessings for atheist activists and enemies of the Church. Lead them all back to the true Church, sheepfold of salvation, as you promised in your apparitions in Fatima.
For those who are your children, for all families and for us in particular who consecrate ourselves entirely to your Immaculate Heart, be refuge in the anguish and temptations of Life; be a way to reach God, the only source of peace and joy. Amen. Hi Regina ..

the time has come when the "Promises" made by Our Lady at Fatima are nearing their fulfillment.
The hour of the "triumph" of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, is approaching; consequently, it will also be the hour of the great miracle of Divine Mercy for Humanity: "The world will have a time of peace".
However, Our Lady wants to operate this wonderful event with our collaboration. She who offered God her full availability: "Here is the Handmaid of the Lord", repeats to each of us the words one day said to Lucia: "The Lord wants to make use of you ...". Priests and families are called "in the forefront" to collaborate in the accomplishment of this triumph.
The "message" of Fatima
Have we ever wondered what the message of the apparitions and revelations of Fatima is?
The announcement of the war, the conversion of Russia with the fall of communism in the world?
NO!
The promise of peace? Neither!
The "true message" of the apparitions of Fatima is "devotion to the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary".
It comes from heaven! it is the will of God!
Little Jacinta, just before leaving the earth for heaven, repeated to Lucia:
"You stay down here to let people know that the Lord wants to establish devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the world."
“Tell everyone that God grants his graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Let them ask you.
That the Heart of Jesus wants Mary's Immaculate Heart to be venerated with her Heart.
May they ask for peace to the Immaculate Heart of Mary because the Lord has entrusted it to her ».
Heavenly communications
In the second apparition of the Blessed Virgin at the Cova di Iria, on June 13, 1917, Our Lady showed the children the vision of her Immaculate Heart, surrounded and pierced by thorns.
Turning to Lucia, she said: «Jesus wants to use you to make me known and loved. He `wants to establish 'devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. To those who will practice it I promise:
salvation,
these souls will be loved by God,
like flowers they will be placed by me before his throne.
In the third apparition July 13, 1917, the richest of doctrine and promises, the Blessed Virgin, after showing the terrifying vision of hell to the little visionaries, with kindness and sadness, said to them:
«You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, the Lord wants to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. If you do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace ».
"You, at least try to console me and announce in my name ..."
But the message of Fatima did not end here; in fact, the Virgin appeared again to Lucia on December 10, 1925. The Child Jesus was with her, raised above a cloud of light, while the Virgin, placing one hand on Lucia's shoulder, held the Heart surrounded by sharp thorns in the other hand.
Baby Jesus spoke first and said to Lucia:
«Have compassion on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother. It is all covered by the thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it every moment and there is no one who removes any of it with an act of reparation ».
Our Lady then spoke: «My daughter, contemplate my Heart surrounded by the thorns with which ungrateful men continually pierce him with their blasphemies and ingratitudes. You, at least try to console me and announce, in my name, that I promise you to assist in the hour of death with the graces necessary for eternal salvation, all those who on the first Saturday of five consecutive months will confess and communicate reciting the Rosary and they will keep me company for a quarter of an hour, meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of offering an act of reparation ».
Some clarifications:
Lucia pointed out to Jesus the difficulty some people had of confessing on the Sabbath and asked if the confession made in the eight days had been valid.
Jesus replied: "Yes, it can even be many days longer, provided that those who receive Holy Communion are in grace and have the intention of repairing the offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary".
Lucia asked again: "Who can't meet all the conditions on Saturday, can't do it on Sunday?"
Jesus replied: "He will equally accept the practice of this devotion on Sunday, after the first Saturday, when my priests, 'for just reasons, will grant it to souls."
Why five Saturdays?
Lucia then asked the Virgin why there should be `five Saturdays' and not nine, or seven.
Here are his words:
«My daughter, the reason is simple answered the Virgin there are five kinds of offenses and blasphemies against my Immaculate Heart:
1. blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception;
2. blasphemies against his virginity;
3. blasphemies against divine Motherhood, refusing, at the same time, to recognize her as the true Mother of men;
4. the scandals of those who publicly try to instill indifference, contempt and even hatred against this Immaculate Mother of theirs into the hearts of children;
5. those who insult me "directly" in my sacred images.
«As for you, continually seek, with your prayers and sacrifices, to move me to mercy towards those poor souls».
In conclusion, the necessary conditions for the great promise are:
for five months receive Holy Communion on the first Saturday;
recite the crown of the Rosary;
keep company with Our Lady for fifteen minutes meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary;
make a confession with the same intention; the latter can also be done on another day, provided that in receiving Holy Communion one is in the grace of God.
The Message of the new Millennium
This century of ours has witnessed painful experiences for not responding to the invitations of heaven. We have all experienced the sad consequences: a second world war, more terrible than the first; Russia has spread its errors around the world causing conflicts, persecutions of the Church, sufferings of the Pope, the annihilation of some nations; atheism has become the new creed of many peoples. Precisely in this century of ours, which recognizes itself as the most cain in human history, the Lord has personally committed himself to asking for compassion and to promoting devotion to the Heart of his and our Mother, because with the triumph of this Mother's Heart, the humanity rediscovers love and finally lives an epoch of peace, an epoch in which man, "with a new heart" sees in the other man not a prey to be conquered, but a brother to love and to save.
The message of Fatima is therefore a message of "salvation" to prevent humanity that is perverted by hatred, submerged by rivers of innocent blood, capable of unimaginable atrocities, ends up losing itself eternally and destroying itself on earth.
The other "messages" such as war, hunger, persecutions of the Church, annihilated nations ... are announcements of sad and upsetting realities for not listening to the requests made for the salvation of men.
The theological reasons for devotion and worship to the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary
The decree which established the universal feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1944 reveals to her: "With this cult, the Church pays due honor to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as under the symbol of this Heart she venerates with utmost devotion:
The exemplary and singular holiness of the Mother of God;
His maternal piety towards men, redeemed by the divine blood of his Son ».
In the same Decree the purpose of this Devotion is indicated: «Because for the help of the Mother of God, peace be granted to all peoples, freedom to the Church of Christ and sinners are freed from their sins and all the faithful are confirmed in love and in the exercise of all virtues through grace ».
Therefore the cult to the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary highlights the unique "holiness" of the Madonna, Mother and Queen of all Saints because Immaculate, conceived without sin and therefore full of grace and, at the same time, underlines "love »Very tender of this Mother of Heaven towards all of us, her children.
If it is true that the masterpiece of God's wisdom and power is the maternal Heart, what about the Heart of Mary, Mother of God and our Mother who, while surpassing every other creature in holiness, surpasses that of all in "love" the mothers of the earth for their children?
"The Lord Himself Wants It"
Let's convince ourselves, therefore, that devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary was not invented by men. It comes from God: "The Lord himself wants it ..."
Let's think about how much God, in Christ Jesus, worked for the glorification of his Mother's Heart. The apparitions of Fatima as well as documenting how Mary is present in human history, in our tragic and upsetting events, to save humanity, reveal:
1 How the Lord, in order to overcome the caine hatred of men, "Brothers who kill brothers", in his infinite wisdom, wished to highlight devotion and worship to the Heart of his Mother and of humanity in full light, making visible, with tears we remember Syracuse all her love and pain for the ruin of her children.
2. How, in order to arrive at the glorification of his Mother's Heart, he led the Church, in the person of Pius XII, to "define with a Dogma" that truly the Mother of God and our Mother was taken up into heaven, where she lives in the glory alongside Jesus Christ not only with the soul, but with the body (1 November 1950).
We can and must venerate our Mother's Heart because it is alive, throbbing with love and tenderness for us.
«The Lord wants it ...»
The worship of the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary is therefore not our pious devotion, but an almighty work of God to glorify his and our Mother in heaven and on earth.
It is certainly not for devotionism that the Supreme Pontiffs, beginning with Pius XII, responded to the repeated requests for consecration of Russia and humanity to the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary!
The first was made by Pius XII on May 31, 1942, the 25th anniversary of the apparitions of Fatima, in St. Peter's Basilica: «To you, to your Immaculate Heart ... we, in this tragic hour of human history, solemnly consecrate the saint Church, even more the whole world, troubled by cruel discord, victim of its own iniquity ... ».
Always Pius XII, on November 1st, with the proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption, laid the theological foundation of the Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
On March 25, 1984, John Paul II, in St. Peter's Square, consa
solemnly crave humanity to the Immaculate Heart "so that the light of hope may be revealed to all".
No glory, after the glory given by Jesus Christ to the Father, rises from the earth to the SS. Trinity, so full and perfect as the glory that makes the Immaculate Heart of Mary:
Father's favorite daughter;
true Mother of Jesus Christ, Man and God;
true Bride of the Holy Spirit;
our true Mother: "Behold your Mother".
From these brief hints, everyone can sense the prodigy wrought by God in this century of ours, a prodigy that will continue to accompany generations of men in the third millennium: the triumph of the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary.
This mystery of grace which admires the angels of Heaven, we say it with pain, still leaves so much of humanity indifferent. And not just indifferent! How many smile when one speaks of "Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary", of his "Great Promise" with the first five Saturdays of the month.
And yet, precisely this century, by divine design, will end with the triumph of the Heart of Mary.
God himself put his hand to the great "World Cup" for this glorification.
There is a Mother who loves us with limitless love; there is a 'Mother of Mercy' who cries and prays for us, because she wants us safe!
Our values
Faced with the precise request: "The Lord wants to use you to establish devotion to my Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart in the world", how could we remain indifferent?
God wants it! "He wants to use you!" He does not «want», he does not «suggest», he does not «advise», but he wants!
We never forget that the vision of the Immaculate Heart of Mary fits in with the most dramatic and upsetting one of the
souls who go to hell.
In the International Year of the Family, we promoted the `Consecration 'of every family, of every parish to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, adhering to a specific request from Our Lady:" I want all families to consecrate themselves to my Heart ".
For this new year (1995), our commitment will be to help families, individual faithful and parishes to "live this Consecration with the Great Promise of the first five Saturdays".
The triumph of the Heart of Mary is the triumph of love, an essential prerequisite for all men to be saved and humanity finally to live the "Civilization of love", whose first `fruit 'is Peace.
We all look with anguish at so many nations involved in frantic wars, at an aberrant humanity; but we also think about how many families are in crisis because love has given way to selfishness
and hatred, which opens the door to the crime of abortion: "massacre of the innocent", performed no longer by Herod, but by father and mother.
The "secret" to bring families back to the plan of God is to collaborate all together to make the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary live with the practice of the first five Saturdays of the month, requested by Our Lady herself: "Announce in my name ...".
How is this possible?
We all remember the extraordinary events that surprised the world, starting with the collapse of atheist communism in Russia, the Berlin Wall, certain consequences of the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; but why always wait to see to believe? "Blessed are those who will believe without seeing."
All Apostles of the `Great Promise '
We therefore respond with joy to the request of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, on the first five Saturdays of the month, promoting its practice.
The promised graces were "revealed" by Our Lady herself:
"To those who practice it I promise salvation."
«These souls will be preferred by God».
«Like flowers they will be placed by me before his throne».
«My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God».

I invite you all to commit yourselves so that the Consecration of families, made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is completed by living and spreading "the great promise of the Immaculate Heart of Mary".
