Father Michele Vassallo recounted the mysterious episode that follows, extremely emblematic of the power of the Holy Rosary as it was "mysteriously given" to him by the great thaumaturge and exponent of the world Catholic Charismatic Renewal Father E. Tardif, considered by the Archbishop of Santiago (Mons . Flores) "... One of the greatest men of the Catholic Church in recent decades ...".

· This gift of the Rosary constitutes a further validation of the value of the Holy Rosary: the prayer of miracles.

- During the prayer vigil a strange thing happened: I found myself talking with Fr. Emiliano as we often did during his earthly life. I said to him: “Father, I will never be able to see you again until the day I have the privilege of joining you in the Heavenly Jerusalem. Only the sweet memory of your paternal affection, your smile and your simplicity remains of you. You have been for me father and teacher, the messenger of God, the voice of the Holy Spirit. Now you leave me, like this, suddenly without giving me time to accept this emptiness. I am almost ashamed to confess it to you, but in all these years I have always wanted to ask you for any object that belonged to you in order to keep it in your memory ... I would have liked so much to have the courage to express this desire of mine, but now it is too late. You left…"

After a few more minutes of silence, I realized I was a little tired, so I decided to go to the kitchen to have a glass of water. I had just sat down when one of the guards watching over the body arrived and worried he said to me: “Father, I should ask you a favor. Strangely, a rosary was placed in the hands of Father Emiliano. He already has one around his neck. I do not understand who could have put a second in his hands! We should take it off but I wouldn't want to. I would like you to do it, who is a priest and was a close friend of yours. These words rang out to me like an answer from Fr. Emiliano… That crown was the gift for me, that's why I had to be the one to remove it from his hands to keep it in memory. I went back to the chapel, approached the coffin and very carefully took the crown and placed it in a handkerchief. I felt a sweet sensation. It seemed that Father Emiliano was smiling at me. I put it in my pocket and will keep it jealously until the end of my days.
