Lourdes: after the Eucharistic procession he heals from a serious illness

Marie Thérèse CANIN. A delicate body touched by grace ... Born in 1910, residing in Marseille (France). Disease: Dorsolumbar Pott's disease and fistulized tuberculous peritonitis. Healed on October 9, 1947, at the age of 37. Miracle recognized on 6 June 1952 by Mons, Jean Delay, archbishop of Marseille. Marie Thérèse's story is sadly banal. In 1936, at the age of 26, tuberculosis that has already killed her parents affects her spine (Mal di Pott) and abdomen. During the 10 years that followed, it lived at the rate of hospitalizations, temporary improvements, relapses, interventions, bone grafts. From the beginning of 1947 she feels that the forces are totally abandoning her. His body, only 38 kilos, no longer offers resistance. It is in this state that he arrives in Lourdes on October 7, 1947, with the pilgrimage of the Rosary. On October 9, after the procession of the Blessed Sacrament, she feels healed ... and can get up, move ... have dinner in the evening. The following day, it was submitted to the Bureau Médical for examination and a clear improvement was immediately noticed. This impression still persists after a year of activity, without any arrest, with a recovery of weight (55 Kg. In June 1948 ...) It is a decisive turning point. The tuberculosis that killed her parents will never get hold of her again.
