Lourdes: miraculously heals then becomes a nun

Healed on August 21, 1891, at almost 17 years of age, she will become a religious of the Sacred Heart near Tornai (Belgium). Miracle recognized on September 8, 1910 by Bishop Charles G. Walravens, bishop of Tournai. Amélie is 13 when she begins to suffer from a knee. At this age, pains are often attributed to growth, but Amélie suffers too much. It is in fact tuberculosis, which immediately extends to the foot. In August 1891 he announced to one of his doctors the intention to leave on pilgrimage to Lourdes. He agrees to postpone the planned surgery. On his return, Amélie no longer needs treatment, and even less of operations. His affection has healed, without after-effects. Feels free and relives. Every movement that previously caused her pain is now a victory over suffering.

Listen to them if, by realizing themselves, they will be able to procure the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Purpose: To visit the Blessed Sacrament in a church.
