Lourdes: the plea to Mary for difficult healings

With a heart full of joy and amazement for your visit to our land, we thank you
o Mary for the gift of Your caring attention for us. Your luminous presence in Lourdes is the still new sign of your watchful and maternal goodness. Come among us to keep repeating to us the appeal that you made to Cana in Galilee one day: "Do whatever he tells you" (Jn 2,5: XNUMX). We welcome this invitation as a sign of your maternal mission for the people of the redeemed, given to you by Jesus on the cross, in the hour of passion. Knowing and feeling our Mother fills us with joy and trust: with you we will never be alone and abandoned. Mary, Mother, hope, refuge, thank you.
Holy Mary…

Your words to Lourdes, Mary of Heaven, were prayer and penance! We welcome them as a faithful echo of the Gospel of Jesus, as a program left by the Master to those who want to welcome the gift of new life that makes men children of God. From you today, O Mary, we implore renewed fidelity and generosity to put into practice this gospel cry. Prayer, as a confident abandonment to the goodness of God, who listens and answers, beyond our every request; Penance, as a change of heart and life, to trust God, to assimilate his plan of love for us.
Holy Mary…

Light, gushing water, wind, earth: these are the signs of Lourdes, forever planted by you, O Mary! We want, like the candles of Lourdes, before your venerated image, to shine in the Christian community, for the solidity of our faith. We want to welcome the living water that Jesus gives us in the sacraments, as gestures of his love that heals and regenerates. We want to walk like the Apostles of the Gospel, at the breath of Pentecost, to continue to narrate that God loves us and Christ died and rose for us. We also want to love the places where God has placed us and calls us every day to do His will, the places of our daily sanctification.
Holy Mary…

Mary, Servant of the Lord, Consolation of the Church and of Christians, guide us today and always. Amen. Hello Regina ...

Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.
Blessed be the Holy and Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God
