Lourdes: no hope but after swimming in the pools the miracle

At the age when plans are made, she despairs ... Born in 1869, residing in Saint Martin le Noeud (France). Disease: Acute pulmonary thesis. Healed on August 21, 1895, at age 26. Miracle recognized on May 1, 1908 by Mons. Marie Jean Douais, Bishop of Beauvais. Aurélie is taken by a great desperation. In the age when others have a head full of plans, this 26-year-old young woman has nothing more to hope for in medicine. Manifestly affected for months by pulmonary tuberculosis, she decides to leave for Lourdes with the National Pilgrimage, against the advice of her doctor. The journey is indeed very tiring, to the point that on his arrival in Lourdes on August 21, 1895, he is completely exhausted. After getting off the train, she is transported to the pools to get wet. And immediately he feels a great relief! Immediately, she feels radically healed. Returns taste to life. The doctors present in Lourdes that day gather at the Bureau of Medical Findings where Aurélie is accompanied twice. These can only confirm his recovery. Back home, his doctor will write about his bewilderment at "this complete and immediate recovery". Thirteen years later Aurélie is a young woman in full form, although her recovery is the subject of a counter medical investigation during a disparaging campaign conducted by some doctors who claim that Aurélie's disease was purely nervous. On the occasion of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes, at the request of the bishop of Beauvais, she is questioned and examined again. The two investigations came to the same conclusion: it was a tuberculosis, cured of a sudden, certain and lasting way. The bishop then declares it miraculous.
