The only sin that God does not forgive

Are there any sins that can never be forgiven by God? There is only one, and we will discover it together by analyzing the words of Jesus, reported in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Matthew: «Any sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks ill of the Son of man will be forgiven; but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven him ».

Mark: «All sins will be forgiven to the children of men and also all the blasphemies that they will say; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness "Luke:" Whoever denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. Whoever speaks against the Son of man will be forgiven him, but whoever blasphemes the Holy Spirit he will not be forgiven. "

In summary, one can also speak against Christ and be forgiven. But you will never be forgiven if you blaspheme against the Spirit. But what exactly does it mean to blaspheme against the Spirit? God grants everyone that ability to grasp His presence, that scent of Truth and the Supreme Good, which is called faith.

Knowing the Truth is therefore a gift from God. Knowing the Truth and knowingly choosing to reject the Spirit of that Truth that Jesus embodies, this is the unforgivable sin of which we speak, because to reject God and the good while knowing it, means to worship evil and lie, essence of the devil.

The devil himself knows who God is, but rejects him. In the Catechism of Pope Pius IX we read: How many sins are there against the Holy Spirit? There are six sins against the Holy Spirit: despair of salvation; presumption of salvation without merit; challenge the known truth; envy of others' grace; obstinacy in sins; final impenitence.

Why are these sins said in particular against the Holy Spirit? These sins are said in particular against the Holy Spirit, because they are committed out of pure malice, which is contrary to the goodness, which is attributed to the Holy Spirit.

And so we also read in the Catechism of Pope John Paul II: God's mercy knows no limits, but those who deliberately refuse to accept it through repentance, reject the forgiveness of their sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardening can lead to final impenitence and eternal ruin.
