All those suffering from the consequences of mental, verbal, psychic and above all sexual abuse should be helped. Moral agency is a vital element of our heavenly country's plan of happiness. There faith in Jesus Christ offers the abused person the means to overcome the terrible consequences of unjust acts suffered. The Atonement only when coupled with complete repentance offers a way to avoid the severe punishment the Lord has decreed for these acts.

If we are victims of abuse, Satan will make every effort to convince us that there is no solution. Acknowledges that the healing it comes through Heavenly Father's love. Therefore, his strategy is to do everything possible to separate us from our Father. Satan uses the abuse suffered to create fear and generate feelings of despair. It can damage our ability to forge healthy human relationships. We must have confidence that all negative consequences can be resolved.
