Mother abandons baby with Down syndrome. The father decides to raise him alone
This is the story of a wonderful father who decided to raise a child suffering from Down syndrome, after his mother had decided to abandon him. Instead of running away from a difficult situation himself, he decided to take responsibility for him and raise little Misha, a special child.
Yevgeny Anisimov, is 33 years old when he becomes pare for the first time. As soon as he was born, the doctors told him that the baby was most likely affected by down syndrome. The father's first reaction, taken aback, was to cry and run home. Once home, however, he regrets this reaction and tries to make some research to understand more about that disease and the path that awaited him.
To himself and if he thought that basically nothing had changed in his life, he was always a strong man and determined, he had been given the miracle who was waiting so much. It didn't matter if that little miracle of nature was a bit special.
Evgeny decides to raise his special child
While his wife immediately decided to foster him, Evgeny decided to take the opposite decision. He wouldn't have it abandoned and although she was aware of the difficulties to overcome, she had decided to take care of them and fight.
He also tried to convince his wife, believing her scared, to retrace his steps, but to no avail.
Since then Evgeny has been growing Misha, with the help of his grandparents who take care of him when he is at work. The child has an active life, he attends swimming lessons and sessions with the speech therapist, always with a smile on his lips and surrounded bylove of his family members. Many people, having become aware of the story, try to help this family even financially.
Eugene wanted spread his story and make it known to as many people as possible, to raise awareness of Down syndrome and give courage to parents who, like him, struggle every day to see their happy children grow up.
