Missing the priest for a parish, the Bishop makes a decision never taken

For some time we have been talking about crisis of vocations and are fewer and fewer parish priests available to the bishops to guide the parishes, some gathered together to make up for the lack of spiritual guides.

But when the bishop of Rimini Francesco Lambiasi was faced with the problem of who to put at the helm of the pastoral care of Misano Adriatico, he turned to a married couple. The news is told byHandle.

After the departure of Don Angelo Rubaconti, Monsignor Lambiasi appointed the deacon David Carroli and his wife Cinzia Bertuccioli as pastoral representatives of the parish of Misano Monte and collaborators of Don Giuseppe Vaccarini e Don Roberto Zangheri in the animation of the pastoral unit that unites the parishes of Misano Adriatico, Misano Monte, Scacciano and Villaggio Argentina.

This is the first time for the diocese of Rimini in which a lay couple has been given a similar role.
