Maria Simma speaks to us of the souls in Purgatory: she tells us things we did not know

Are there also children in purgatory?
yes, even children who are not yet in school can go to purgatory. since a child knows that something is not good and does it, he commits a fault. naturally for children purgatory is neither long nor painful, since they lack full discernment. but don't say a child still doesn't understand! a child understands more than we think, has a much more delicate conscience than an adult.
What is the fate of children who die without baptism, of suicides…?
these children also have a "sky"; they are happy, but they do not have the vision of god. however, they know so little about this that they believe they have achieved what is most beautiful.
what about the suicides? are they damned?
not all of them, because, in most cases, they are not responsible for their acts. those who are guilty of driving them to suicide carry a greater responsibility.

Do members of another religion also go to purgatory?
yes, even those who do not believe in purgatory. but they do not suffer as much as the Catholics, since they did not have the sources of graces that we have; no doubt, they don't have the same happiness.
can't the souls in purgatory do anything for themselves?
no, absolutely nothing, but they can help us a lot if we ask them.
Road accident in Vienna
a soul told me this story: "not having observed the traffic laws, I was killed instantly, in vienna, while I was on a motorcycle".
I asked her: "Were you ready to enter eternity?"
"I was not ready -sayed-. but god gives anyone who does not sin against him with insolence and presumption, two or three minutes to be able to repent. and only those who refuse are damned ».
the soul went on with its interesting and instructive comment: “when one dies in an accident, people say it was his time. it is false: this can only be said when a person dies through no fault of his own. but according to the plans of god, I could still have lived thirty years; then all the time of my life would have passed. '
therefore man has no right to expose his life to the danger of death, except in case of necessity.

A centenary on the road
one day, in 1954, around 14,30 pm, when I was traveling to Marul, before passing through the territory of this municipality near ours, I met in the woods a woman with a so sagging appearance as to seem a centenarian. I greeted her amicably.
"Why are you greeting me? -churches-. nobody greets me anymore. "
I tried to console her by saying: "You deserve to be greeted like so many other people."
she began to complain: «no one gives me this sign of sympathy anymore; no one feeds me and I have to sleep on the street. "
I thought that this was not possible and that she no longer reasoned. I tried to show her that this was not possible.
"But yes," he replied.
I then thought that, being boring for her old age, no one wanted to keep her for so long, and I invited her to eat and sleep.
"But! ... I can't pay," she said.
then I tried to cheer her up by saying: "It doesn't matter, but you have to accept what I offer you: I don't have a nice house, but it will be better than sleeping on the street."
then he thanked me: «God give it back! now I am released »and disappeared.
until that moment I had not understood that he was a soul in purgatory. surely, during her earthly life, she had rejected someone she should have helped, and since her death she had had to wait for someone to voluntarily offer her what she had refused to others.

meeting on the train
"you know me?" a soul in purgatory asked me. I had to answer no.
«But you have already seen me: in 1932 you took a trip with me to hall. I was your travel companion ».
I remembered him very well: this man had criticized aloud, on the train, the church and religion. although I was only 17, I took it to heart and told him that he was not a good man, since he denigrated holy things.
"You are too young to teach me a lesson - he replied to justify himself -".
"However, I'm smarter than you," I replied courageously.
he lowered his head and said nothing more. when he got off the train, I prayed to our lord: "Don't let this soul get lost!"
"That prayer of yours saved me - concluded the soul of purgatory -. without it I would have been damned ».
