Meditation of July 6 "Converted in favorable time"

If there is someone who is a slave to sin, prepare himself by faith to be born again free in filial adoption. And after abandoning the bad slavery of sins and having attained the blessed slavery of the Lord, it is considered worthy of obtaining the inheritance of the heavenly kingdom. By means of conversion, undress the old man who corrupts himself behind deceitful desires, to clothe the new man who renews himself in conformity with the knowledge of the one who created him. Purchase the pledge of the Holy Spirit through faith, so that you may be welcomed into eternal homes. Approach the mystical mark, so that we can distinguish you well from all. Be numbered in the flock of Christ, holy and well-ordered, so that one day on his right you can get the life prepared as your inheritance. In fact, those to whom the roughness of sins still remains attached, as if it were a skin, take their place on the left, for the fact that they did not approach the grace of God, which is granted, for Christ, in the wash of regeneration. Certainly I am not speaking of the regeneration of bodies, but of the renewed birth of the soul. Bodies are in fact generated by means of visible parents, souls instead are regenerated through faith, and in fact: "The Spirit blows wherever he wants". Then, if you are worthy of it, you will be able to hear yourself say: "Well, good and faithful servant" (Mt 25, 23), provided that you are found exempt in consciousness from all impurities and simulations. So if anyone present thinks of attempting the grace of God, he deceives himself, and ignores the value of things. Obtain, O man, a sincere soul without deception, for the one who scrutinizes mind and heart. The present time is conversion time. Confess what you have committed both by word and by action, both night and day. Converted in the favorable time, and on the day of salvation welcome the celestial treasure. Clean up your amphora, so that it may accept grace in a more abundant way; in fact the remission of sins is given to all equally, instead the participation of the Holy Spirit is granted in proportion to the faith of each. If you have worked little you will receive little, if instead you have done much, much will be the reward. What you do, you do it for your own good. It is in your best interest to consider and do what suits you best. If you have something against someone, forgive. If you draw near to receive the forgiveness of sins, you must also forgive those who have sinned "
