Today's meditation: From the knowledge of Jesus Christ one has an understanding of all Sacred Scripture

The origin of Sacred Scripture is not the result of human research, but of divine revelation. This emanates "from the Father of light, from whom every fatherhood in heaven and on earth takes its name".
The Holy Spirit descends within us from the Father, through his Son Jesus Christ. Then by means of the Holy Spirit, who divides and distributes his gifts to individuals according to his approval, faith is given to us, and by means of faith Christ lives in our hearts (cf. Eph 3:17).
This is the knowledge of Jesus Christ, from which originate, as from a source, the security and intelligence of truth, contained in all Sacred Scripture. Therefore it is impossible for anyone to go into it and know it, if first they do not have the faith which is the lamp, the door and foundation of all Sacred Scripture.
Faith in fact, along our pilgrimage, is the basis from which all supernatural knowledge comes, illuminates the way to get there and is the door to enter. It is also the criterion for measuring the wisdom given to us from above, so that no one can esteem more than it is convenient to evaluate oneself, but in such a way as to have a fair evaluation of themselves, each according to the measure of faith that God has given him ( cf. Rom 12: 3).
The purpose, then, or rather, the fruit of Sacred Scripture is not any one, but even the fullness of eternal happiness. In fact, Sacred Scripture is precisely the book in which words of eternal life are written because, not only do we believe, but we also possess eternal life, in which we will see, love and fulfill all our desires.
Only then will we know "the charity that surpasses all knowledge" and thus will we be filled "with all the fullness of God" (Eph 3:19).
Now the divine Scripture tries to introduce us into this fullness, precisely according to what the Apostle told us a little while ago.
For this purpose, with this intention, Sacred Scripture must be studied. So it must be listened to and taught.
To obtain this fruit, to reach this goal under the right direction of Scripture, one must start from the beginning. That is, to approach the Father of light with simple faith and to pray with a humble heart, that through the Son and in the Holy Spirit he may grant us the true knowledge of Jesus Christ and, with knowledge, also love. Knowing and loving him, and firmly founded and rooted in charity, we will be able to experience the width, length, height and depth (cf. Eph 3:18) of Sacred Scripture itself.
In this way we will be able to reach perfect knowledge and immeasurable love of the most blessed Trinity, to which the desires of the saints tend and in which there is the implementation and fulfillment of all truth and goodness.
