Today's meditation: The Word of God who inhabits the highest skies is a source of wisdom

Jesus Christ, beloved Son of God, called us from darkness to light, from ignorance to the knowledge of his glorious name; because we can operate in his name, which is at the origin of everything created.
Through him the creator of all things keeps intact the number of his elect, who are found everywhere in the world. Listen to the prayer and supplication that we now heartily raise to him:
You opened the eyes of our heart so that we knew you alone, Most High, who lives in the highest skies, Holy among the saints. You bring down the arrogance of the presumptuous, disperse the designs of peoples, exalt the humble and bring down the proud, give wealth and poverty, kill and make live, unique benefactor of the spirits and God of all flesh (cf. Is 57, 15 ; 13, 1; Ps 32, 10, etc.).
You scan the depths, know the actions of men, help those who are in danger, you are the salvation of those who are hopeless, the creator and watchful shepherd of every spirit. You increase the nations of the earth and choose among all those who love you through your beloved Son Jesus Christ, through whose work you have taught us, sanctified and honored us.
Please, O Lord, be our help and support. Free those of us who are in tribulation, have mercy on the humble, raise the fallen, meet the needy, heal the sick, bring the backsliders back to your people. Satiate those who are hungry, free our prisoners, raise the weak, give courage to those who are overthrown.
All peoples know that you are the only God, that Jesus Christ is your Son, and we "your people and the flock of your pasture" (Ps 78, 13).
You with your action have manifested to us the perennial ordering of the world. You, O Lord, created the earth and remain faithful for all generations. You are righteous in judgments, admirable in the fortress, incomparable in splendor, wise in creation and provident in its conservation, good in all that we see and faithful to those who trust in you, O benign and merciful God. Forgive us iniquities and injustices, shortcomings and negligence.
Do not take into account every sin of your servants and your servants, but purify us in the purity of your truth and guide our steps, because we walk in piety, in justice and in the simplicity of the heart, and do what is good and accepted before you and those who guide us.
O Lord and our God let your face shine on us so that we can enjoy your goods in peace, we are protected by your powerful hand, freed from all sin with the strength of your lofty arm, and saved by those who hate us unjustly .
Give harmony and peace to us and to all the inhabitants of the earth, as you gave them to our fathers, when they piously invoked you in faith and truth. You alone, O Lord, can grant us these benefits and even greater gifts.
We praise you and bless you for Jesus Christ, high priest and advocate of our souls. Through him let honor and glory rise to you now, for all generations and for ever and ever. Amen.
