Dear Italian friends, I am very happy to be able to greet you in this place blessed for 21 years by the presence of Mary.

I want to talk to you about the messages that she gives us visionaries; in this short time I will tell you about the main messages.

But first I want to tell you not to look at me like a saint, even if I want to be better; being holy is a desire that I feel in my heart. Even if I see the Madonna, it doesn't mean I'm converted. Mine, like your conversion, is a process by which we must decide and commit ourselves with perseverance.

Every day of these 21 years there is always a question inside me: Why did you choose Mother for me? Why don't you appear at all? Never in my life could I imagine seeing the Madonna one day. At the beginning I was 16, I was a practicing Catholic like everyone else, but nobody had told me about the various apparitions of the Virgin. When I heard from her "I am the Queen of Peace" I was sure that she was the Mother of God. The joy and peace that I feel in my heart every time can only come from God. In all these years I have grown up in her school of peace, love, prayer. I can never thank God enough for this gift. I see the Madonna as I see you now, I speak with her, I can touch her. After each meeting it is not easy for me to return to real, daily life. Being with her every day means being already in Paradise.

Even if not everyone sees her, Our Lady comes for everyone, for the salvation of each of her children. "I come because my Son sends me and so that I can help you," he said at the beginning ... "The world is in grave danger, it can destroy itself." She is Mother, she wants to take us by the hand and lead us to peace. “Dear children, if there is no peace in the heart of man there is no peace in the world; therefore do not speak of peace, but live peace, do not speak of prayer, but begin to live prayer "..." Dear children, there are too many words in the world; speak less, but work more for your spirituality "..." Dear children, I am with you to help you, I need you to achieve peace ".

Mary is our Mother, she speaks to us in simple words, she never tires of inviting us to follow her messages which are medicine for humanity's sufferings. She does not come to bring us fear, she does not speak of catastrophes or the end of the world, she comes as Mother of hope. The world, she says, will have a peaceful future if we begin to pray with the heart, to participate in the Holy Mass not only on holidays, with the monthly confession, if we know how to put God first in our lives. Maria exhorts us to the adoration of the SS. Sacramento, to pray the Rosary and read the Word of God in families, recommends fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays, asks us to forgive, love and help others. She educates us about good things with the sweetness and love of a Mother who said: "If you knew how much I love you, you would cry for joy!". Always start messages with "Dear children" because they are addressed to everyone, without distinction of nationality, culture, color. For her, all her children are equally important. A thousand times Our Lady repeated: "Pray, pray, pray". If we want to go to the school of peace, in this school there are no weekends, there are no breaks, we have to pray every day alone, in the family, in groups. Our Lady still says: "If you want to pray better, you must pray more". Prayer is a personal decision, but praying more is a grace. Mary invites us to pray with love so that prayer becomes a meeting with Jesus in unity with him, a friendship with him, a rest together with him: that our prayer becomes joy.

Tonight I will recommend everyone to the Madonna especially you young people, I will present her your problems and your intentions.

My wish is that from today, from this evening, everyone opens his heart and intends to start living the messages that the Gospa has been giving us for 21 years with his apparitions in Medjugorje.
