Medjugorje: Our Lady shows you the way of holiness

May 25, 1987
Dear children! I invite each of you to start living in the love of God. Dear children, you are ready to commit sin and place yourself in Satan's hands, without reflecting. I invite each of you to consciously decide for God and against Satan. I am your Mother; therefore I wish to lead you all to complete holiness. I wish each of you to be happy here on earth and that each of you be with me in heaven. This is, dear children, the purpose of my coming here and my desire. Thanks for answering my call!
Some passages from the Bible that can help us understand this message.
Gn 3,1-13
The snake was the most cunning of all the wild beasts made by the Lord God. He said to the woman: "Is it true that God said: You must not eat of any tree in the garden?". The woman replied to the snake: "Of the fruits of the trees in the garden we can eat, but of the fruit of the tree that stands in the middle of the garden God said: You must not eat and touch it, otherwise you will die." But the snake said to the woman: “You will not die at all! Indeed, God knows that when you eat them, your eyes would open and you would become like God, knowing the good and the bad ". Then the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, pleasing to the eye and desirable to acquire wisdom; she took some fruit and ate it, then also gave it to her husband, who was with her, and he also ate it. Then both of them opened their eyes and realized they were naked; they braided fig leaves and made themselves belts. Then they heard the Lord God walking in the garden in the breeze of the day and the man and his wife hid from the Lord God in the middle of the trees in the garden. But the Lord God called the man and said to him, "Where are you?". He replied: "I heard your step in the garden: I was afraid, because I am naked, and I hid myself." He went on: “Who let you know you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat? ". The man replied: "The woman you placed beside me gave me a tree and I ate it." The Lord God said to the woman, "What have you done?". The woman replied: "The snake has deceived me and I have eaten."
Genesis 3,1-24

The woman replied to the snake: "Of the fruits of the trees in the garden we can eat, but of the fruit of the tree that stands in the middle of the garden God said: You must not eat and touch it, otherwise you will die." The Lord God said to the woman, "What have you done?". The woman replied: "The snake has deceived me and I have eaten."

Then the Lord God said to the serpent: “Since you have done this, be you cursed more than all the cattle and more than all the wild beasts; on your belly you will walk and dust you will eat for all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your lineage and her lineage: this will crush your head and you will undermine her heel ". To the woman she said: “I will multiply your pains and your pregnancies, with pain you will give birth to children. Your instinct will be towards your husband, but he will dominate you. " To the man he said: “For you have listened to your wife's voice and have eaten from the tree, of which I had commanded you: You must not eat from it, damn the ground because of you! With pain you will draw food for all the days of your life. Thorns and thistles will produce for you and you will eat the field grass. With the sweat of your face you will eat bread; until you return to the earth, because you were taken from it: dust you are and to dust you will return! ". The man called his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all living things. The Lord God made man's robes of skins and dressed them. The Lord God then said: “Behold man has become like one of us, for the knowledge of good and evil. Now, let him no longer stretch out his hand and do not even take the tree of life, eat it and always live! ". The Lord God chased him from the garden of Eden, to work the soil from where it was taken. He drove the man away and placed the cherubim and the flame of the dazzling sword to the east of the garden of Eden, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Psalm 36
By Davide. Do not be angry with the wicked, do not envy the evildoers. As hay will soon wilt, they will fall like meadow grass. Trust in the Lord and do good; live the earth and live with faith. Seek the joy of the Lord, he will fulfill the desires of your heart. Show your way to the Lord, trust in him: he will do his work; your justice will shine as light, your right as noon. Be silent before the Lord and hope in him; do not be irritated by those who are successful, by the man who plots pitfalls. Desire from anger and put an indignation, do not be irritated: you would do harm, because the wicked will be exterminated, but whoever hopes in the Lord will possess the earth. Just a little longer and the wicked disappears, you look for his place and you can't find it anymore. Myths, on the other hand, will possess the earth and enjoy great peace. The wicked plot against the just, against him grits his teeth. But the Lord laughs at the wicked, because he sees his day coming. The wicked draw their sword and stretch their bow to bring down the wretched and the destitute, to kill those who walk on the right path. Their sword will reach their heart and their bows will break. The little of the righteous is better than the abundance of the wicked; for the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord is the support of the righteous. The life of the good knows the Lord, their inheritance will last forever. They will not be confused in the time of misfortune and in the days of hunger they will be satisfied. Since the wicked will perish, the enemies of the Lord will wither like the splendor of the meadows, all like smoke will vanish. The wicked one borrows and does not give back, but the righteous one has compassion and gives as a gift. Whoever is blessed by God will possess the earth, but whoever is cursed will be exterminated. The Lord makes sure of man's steps and follows his path with love. If it falls, it does not stay on the ground, because the Lord holds it by the hand. I was a boy and now I am old, I have never seen the righteous abandoned nor his children beg for bread. He always has compassion and borrows, so his lineage is blessed. Stay away from evil and do good, and you will always have a home. Because the Lord loves justice and does not abandon his faithful; the wicked will be destroyed forever and their race will be exterminated. The righteous will possess the earth and live in it forever. The mouth of the righteous proclaims wisdom, and his tongue expresses justice; the law of his God is in his heart, his steps will not waver. The wicked spy on the righteous and try to make him die. The Lord does not abandon him to his hand, in the judgment he does not let him condemn. Hope in the Lord and follow his way: he will exalt you and you will possess the earth and you will see the extermination of the wicked. I have seen the triumphant wicked man rise like a luxuriant cedar; I passed and the more it was not, I looked for it and the more it was not found. Observe the righteous and see the righteous man, the man of peace will have descendants. But all sinners will be destroyed, the offspring of the wicked will be endless.
Tobias 6,10-19
They had entered the Media and were already close to Ecbatana, 11 when Raffaele said to the boy: "Brother Tobia!". He replied, "Here I am." He went on: “We have to stay with Raguele tonight, who is your relative. He has a daughter called Sara and no other son or daughter other than Sara. You, like your closest relative, have the right to marry her more than any other man and to inherit her father's possessions. She is a serious, courageous, very pretty girl and her father is a good person. " And he added: “You have the right to marry her. Listen to me, brother; I will talk to the father about the girl tonight, because she will keep her as your fiancée. When we get back to Rage, we'll have the wedding. I know that Raguel will not be able to refuse it to you or promise it to others; he would incur death according to the prescription of the law of Moses, since he knows that before any other it is up to you to have his daughter. So listen to me, brother. Tonight we will talk about the girl and ask for her hand. On our return from Rage we will take it and take it with us to your home. " Then Tobias replied to Raffaele: “Brother Azaria, I have heard that she has already been given as a wife to seven men and they died in the wedding room the same night they were to join her. I also heard that a demon kills husbands. This is why I'm afraid: the devil is jealous of her, she doesn't hurt her, but if someone wants to approach her, he kills him. I am the only son of my father. I am afraid of dying and of leading the life of my father and mother to the grave out of the anguish of my loss. They don't have another child who can bury them. " But the one said to him: “Have you perhaps forgotten the warnings of your father, who recommended you to marry a woman of your family? Listen to me therefore, brother: do not worry about this devil and marry her. I am sure that you will be married this evening. However, when you enter the bridal chamber, take the heart and liver of the fish and put a little on the incense embers. The smell will spread, the devil will have to smell it and run away and will no longer appear around her. Then, before joining with it, both of you get up to pray. Beseech the Lord of heaven for his grace and his salvation to come upon you. Fear not: it has been destined for you from eternity. You will be the one to save it. She will follow you and I think that from her you will have children who will be for you like brothers. Don't be worried. " When Tobia heard the words of Raffaele and learned that Sara was his blood relative of the lineage of his father's family, he loved him to the point that he could no longer divert his heart from her.
Mark 3,20-30
He entered a house and a large crowd gathered around him again, to the point that they could not even take food. Then his parents heard this and went to fetch him; for they said, "He is outside himself." But the scribes, who had come down from Jerusalem, said: "He is possessed by Beelzebub and casts out demons by means of the prince of demons." But he called them and said to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided in itself, that kingdom cannot stand; if a house is divided in itself, that house cannot stand. In the same way, if Satan rebels against himself and is divided, he cannot resist, but he is about to end. Nobody can enter the house of a strong man and kidnap his belongings if he has not first tied the strong man; then he will pillage the house. Truly I say to you: all sins will be forgiven the children of men and also all the blasphemies they will say; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness: he will be guilty of eternal guilt. " For they said, "He is possessed by an unclean spirit."
Mt 5,1-20
Seeing the crowds, Jesus went up the mountain and, sitting down, his disciples approached him. Then taking the floor, he taught them saying:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
because of them is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the afflicted,
because they will be comforted.
Blessed are the myths,
because they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice,
because they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
because they will find mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
because they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
because they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those persecuted for the sake of justice,
because of them is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they insult you, persecute you and, lying, say all sorts of evil against you for my sake. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great. So in fact they persecuted the prophets before you. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, with what can it be made salty? Nothing else is needed to be thrown away and trampled by men. You are the light of the world; a city located on a mountain cannot be hidden, nor can a lamp be lit to put it under a bushel, but above the skylight so that it sheds light on everyone in the house. So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to give fulfillment. Truly I say to you: until heaven and earth have passed, not even an iota or a sign will pass by the law, without everything being accomplished. Therefore whoever transgresses one of these precepts, even the least, and teaches men to do the same, will be considered minimum in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever observes them and teaches them to men, will be considered great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, if your righteousness does not exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
James 1,13-18
Nobody, when tempted, say: "I am tempted by God"; because God cannot be tempted by evil and does not tempt anyone to evil. Rather, each one is tempted by his own concupiscence which attracts and seduces him; then concupiscence conceives and generates sin, and sin, when consumed, produces death. Do not go astray, my dear brothers; every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above and descends from the Father of light, in whom there is no variation or shadow of change. Of his will he begot us with a word of truth, so that we could be like a firstfruits of his creatures.
1.Thessalonians 3,6-13
But now that Timòteo is back, and he has brought us the happy announcement of your faith, your charity and the everlasting memory that you keep of us, eager to see us, as we are to see you, we feel consoled, brothers, to your respect, of all the anguish and tribulation in which we were for your faith; now, yes, we feel revived if you stand firm in the Lord. What thanks can we give to God about you, for all the joy we feel because of you before our God, we who with insistence, night and day, ask to be able to see your face and complete what is missing from your faith? May God Himself, our Father, and our Lord Jesus direct our way towards you! May the Lord make you grow and abound in mutual love and towards all, as is our love towards you, to make your hearts firm in holiness, before God our Father, at the moment of the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
