Medjugorje: what Our Lady wants from us and said to the Pope

September 16, 1982
I would also like to say to the Supreme Pontiff the word that I came to announce here in Medjugorje: peace, peace, peace! I want him to pass it on to everyone. My particular message for him is to bring together all Christians with his word and his preaching and to transmit to young people what God inspires him during prayer.
Some passages from the Bible that can help us understand this message.
1 Chronicles 22,7-13
David said to Solomon: “My son, I had decided to build a temple in the name of the Lord my God. But this word of the Lord was addressed to me: You have shed too much blood and made great wars; therefore you will not build the temple in my name, because you have spilled too much blood on the earth before me. Behold, a son will be born to you, who will be a man of peace; I will grant him peace of mind from all his enemies around him. He will be called Solomon. In his days I will grant peace and tranquility to Israel. He will build a temple to my name; he will be son to me and I will be father to him. I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever. Now, my son, the Lord be with you so that you will be able to build a temple to the Lord your God, as he promised you. Well, the Lord grant you wisdom and intelligence, make yourself king of Israel to observe the law of the Lord your God. Of course you will succeed, if you try to practice the statutes and decrees that the Lord has prescribed to Moses for Israel. Be strong, courage; don't be afraid and don't get down.
Ezekiel 7,24,27
I will send the fiercest peoples and seize their homes, I will bring down the pride of the powerful, the sanctuaries will be desecrated. Anguish will come and they will seek peace, but there will be no peace. Misfortune will follow misfortune, alarm will follow alarm: the prophets will ask for responses, the priests will lose the doctrine, the elders the council. The king will be in mourning, the prince cloaked in desolation, the hands of the people of the country will tremble. I will treat them according to their conduct, I will judge them according to their judgments: so they will know that I am the Lord ”.
Jn 14,15-31
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father and he will give you another Comforter to remain with you forever, the Spirit of truth that the world cannot receive, because it does not see it and does not know it. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans, I will return to you. Just a little longer and the world will never see me again; but you will see me, because I live and you will live. On that day you will know that I am in the Father and you in me and I in you. Whoever accepts my commandments and observes them loves them. Whoever loves me will be loved by my Father and I too will love him and manifest myself to him ”. Judas said to him, not the Iscariot: "Lord, how did it happen that you must manifest yourself to us and not to the world?". Jesus replied: “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word and my Father will love him and we will come to him and take up residence with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; the word you hear is not mine, but of the Father who sent me. I told you these things when I was still among you. But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name, he will teach you everything and remind you of everything I have said to you. I leave you peace, I give you my peace. Not as the world gives it, I give it to you. Do not be troubled by your heart and do not be afraid. You have heard that I said to you: I am going and I will come back to you; if you loved me, you would rejoice that I go to the Father, because the Father is greater than me. I told you now, before it happens, because when it does, you believe. I won't talk to you any longer, because the prince of the world comes; he has no power over me, but the world must know that I love the Father and do what the Father has commanded me. Get up, let's get out of here. "
Matthew 16,13-20
When Jesus arrived in the region of Cesarèa di Filippo, he asked his disciples: "Who do people say he is the Son of man?". They replied: "Some John the Baptist, others Elijah, others Jeremiah or some of the prophets." He said to them, "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter replied: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God". And Jesus: “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because neither the flesh nor the blood has revealed it to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to you: You are Peter and on this stone I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and everything you bind on earth will be tied in heaven, and everything you untie on earth will be melted in heaven. " Then he ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.
