Medjugorje: Vicka tells us in detail what happened on June 25, 1981

Janko: Vicka, it therefore appeared on Thursday, June 25, 1981. You each resumed your work. Had you already forgotten what had happened the night before?
Vicka: Not at all! We only dreamed and talked about that!
Janko: Did you agree to drop everything? Or other?
Vicka: It's strange; it was not possible to let it go. We three…
Janko: Who are you three?
Vicka: Ivanka, Mirjana and I, we agreed to go back at about the same time there, where we saw her the day before, thinking: "If it will be Our Lady, maybe she will come again".
Janko: And are you gone?
Vicka: It is clear; about the same time. We went down the dirt road and looked up to the place of the first apparition.
Janko: And have you seen something?
Vicka: But how not! Suddenly a sudden lightning flashed and the Madonna appeared.
Janko: With the baby?
Vicka: No, no. This time there was no baby.
Janko: And where exactly did Our Lady appear?
Vicka: In the same place on the first day.
Janko: Do you remember who saw her first in this appearance?
Vicka: Ivanka again.
Janko: Are you sure?
Vicka: Certainly. Afterwards, Mirjana and I also saw her.
Janko: And this time you went up to her?
Vicka: Wait. Before I got on, I had told Maria and little Jakov that I would call them if we saw something.
Janko: Did you do that?
Vicka: Yes. When the three of us saw her, I told Ivanka and Mirjana to wait until I called those two. I called them and they ran right behind me.
Janko: And then what?
Vicka: When we all got together, Our Lady called us with the gesture of the hand. And we ran. Maria and Jakov didn't see her right away, but they ran too.
Janko: By which path?
Vicka: No path! There is none at all. We ran straight ahead; straight through those thorny bushes.
Janko: Was it possible for you?
Vicka: We ran as if something brought us. There were no bushes for us; nothing. As if everything had been made of sponge stone rubber, something that cannot be described. Nobody could have followed us.
Janko: While you were running, did you see the Madonna?
Vicka: Of course not! Otherwise, how would we have known where to run? Only Maria and Jakov didn't see her until they got up.
Janko: So they saw it too?
Vicka: Yes. First a little confusingly, but then more and more clearly.
Janko: Okay. Do you remember who came first up there?
Vicka: Ivanka and I came first. In practice, almost all together.
Janko: Vicka, you say you ran up so easily, but once you told me that Mirjana and Ivanka were then almost passed out.
Vicka: Yes, for a moment. But in an instant everything has passed.
Janko: What did you do when you got up there?
Vicka: I can't explain it to you. We were confused. We were also afraid. It was not easy to be in front of the Madonna! With all this, we fell to our knees and started saying some prayers.
Janko: Do you remember what prayers you said?
Vicka: I don't remember. But surely our Father, the Ave Maria, and the Gloria. We didn't even know other prayers.
Janko: You once told me that little Jakov fell in the middle of a thorn bush.
Vicka: Yes, yes. With all that emotion it has fallen. I thought: ah, my little Jakov, you won't get out of here alive!
Janko: Instead he came out alive, as we know.
Vicka: Of course it came out! Indeed, soon enough. And when he felt free of thorns, he kept repeating: "Now I wouldn't mind dying, since I saw the Madonna". He thought he had no scratches, although he had fallen into the bush.
Janko: How come?
Vicka: I really don't know. I did not know how to explain it then; but now I understand that Our Lady protected him. And who else?
Janko: How did the Madonna appear to you that time?
Vicka: Do you want to know how she was dressed?
Janko: No, not this. I think of his mood, his attitude towards you.
Vicka: It was wonderful! Smiling and joyful. But this cannot be described.
Janko: Did he say anything to you? I am referring to this second day.
Vicka: Yes. He prayed with us.
Janko: Did you ask her anything?
Vicka: I don't. Ivanka instead yes; he asked about his mother. This shortly before had died suddenly in the hospital.
Janko: I am very interested. What did he ask you?
Vicka: He asked how his mom is doing.
Janko: And did Our Lady say anything to you?
Vicka: Of course, of course. He told her that her mom is fine, that she is with her and that she doesn't have to worry about it.
Janko: What do you mean "with her"?
Vicka: But with the Madonna! If not, with whom?
Janko: Did you hear when Ivanka asked this?
Vicka: How not? We all heard.
Janko: And did you hear what Our Lady replied?
Vicka: We've all heard this too, except Maria and Jakov.
Janko: And how come they didn't hear?
Vicka: Who knows? It was just like that.
Janko: Did Maria regret this fact?
Vicka: Yes, for sure; but what could he do?
Janko: Okay, Vicka. But from all this talk I don't understand what happened to Ivan of Stanko that day.
Vicka: Ivan was with us and saw everything like us.
Janko: And how come he was there?
Vicka: But, like us! He is a shy boy, but he watched what we did, and he did it too. When we ran on Podbrdo, he ran on him too
Janko: Well, Vicka. All of this was lovely!
Vicka: Not just enchanting. It is something that cannot be described. It is as if we are no longer on earth. We were indifferent to everything else: the heat, the thorny bushes and all that confusion of people. When she is with us, everything else is forgotten.
Janko: Okay. Did any of you ask for anything?
Vicka: I already said that Ivanka asked about her mother.
Janko: But has anyone else asked for anything else?
Vicka: Mirjana asked that you leave us a mark, so that people don't chatter about us.
Janko: And the Madonna?
Vicka: The clock turned around in Mirjana.
Janko: Okay. I would not talk about this, because it is not clear what happened in this regard. Rather, have you asked for something else?
Vicka: Yes. We asked her if she will come again.
Janko: What about you?
Vicka: He nodded yes.
Janko: Vicka, you said, and somewhere it was also written, that you saw the Madonna in the middle of a bush.
Vicka: It's true; I said so. You know that I am hasty. I saw her through a bush and it seemed to me that she was in the middle. Instead she was among three bushes, in a small clearing. But what need is there for someone to stick to what I said ... The important thing is whether I have seen it or not.
Janko: Well, Vicka. I heard that on that occasion you also sprinkled it with holy water.
Vicka: No, no. This happened on the third day.
Janko: I understand. How long did you stay with the Madonna?
Vicka: Until she said to us: "Goodbye, my angels!", And she went away.
Janko: All right. Now tell me finally: who saw the Madonna that day?
Vicka: We are you.
Janko: What are you?
Vicka: But you are us! I, Mirjana, Ivanka; then Ivan, Maria and Jakov.
Janko: Which Ivan?
Vicka: Ivan son of Stanko. We have already spoken a little about this.
Janko: Exactly, Vicka. But was anyone else with you?
Vicka: We were at least fifteen people. Indeed more. There was Mario, Ivan, Marinko ... Who can remember everyone?
Janko: Was anyone older?
Vicka: There were Ivan Ivankovic, Mate Sego and others.
Janko: And what did they tell you later?
Vicka: They said something is really going on there. Especially when they saw how we ran up there. Some also saw the glow of the light when the Madonna came.
Janko: Were little Milka and Ivan of the late Jozo there then? [present on the first day].
Vicka: No, they weren't there.
Janko: How come they weren't there?
Vicka: What do I know! Milka's mom didn't give permission. Maria (her sister) has come; Milka needed the mother for something. Instead this Ivan, being a little older than us [he was born in 1960], didn't want to have anything to do with us brats. And so they didn't come.
Janko: Okay. When did you come home?
Vicka: Who before who after.
Janko: Your Marinko told me that Ivanka wept bitterly on the way back.
Vicka: Yes, it's true. Most of us were crying, especially her. How not to cry?
Janko: Why you especially?
Vicka: But, I already told you that Our Lady told her about her mother. And you know how it is: mom is mom.
Janko: Okay. You say that Our Lady has assured her that her mother is with her and that she is comfortable.
Vicka: It's true. But who doesn't love their mother?
