Medjugorje: vision of the nativity of Jesus had by the visionary Jelena

Message of December 22, 1984 (Message given to the prayer group)
(The vision of the nativity of Jesus had by the visionary Jelena Vasilj is reported with the same words with which she later reported it, ed) "A few days before Christmas at the Citluk cinema they gave a film in which, among other things, the birth of Jesus presented. The film started at 19pm. Marijana and I went to mass every evening and then stopped in church for other prayers and the rosary. I really want to go to the cinema, but my dad reminded me that I had promised Our Lady to attend mass every evening and that therefore I could not go to the cinema. This made me very sad. Then Our Lady appeared to me and said to me: “Don't be sad! At Christmas I will show you how Jesus was born ”. And here is how on Christmas day, according to the promise of Our Lady, I had the vision of the nativity of Jesus. At first I see an angel who immediately disappears and everything becomes dark. Darkness gradually becomes a starry sky. On the horizon I see someone approaching. It is Saint Joseph with a stick in his hand. Walk on a stony road at the bottom of which there are illuminated houses. At his side, on a mule, I see the Madonna very sad. She says to Giuseppe: “I am very tired. I would like someone to host us for the night. " And Giuseppe: “Here are the houses. We will ask there. " Once at the first house, Giuseppe knocks. Someone opens, but as soon as he sees Giuseppe and Maria he immediately closes the door. This scene repeats several times. In some cases, on the contrary, the lights inside the houses go out while Giuseppe and Maria are about to come closer to push them not to knock. Both are very sad, and in particular Giuseppe is very saddened, confused and troubled by all these wastes. Although sad, Mary encourages him: “Be at peace, Giuseppe! The day of joy has arrived! But now I want to pray with you because there are so many people who do not allow Jesus to be born ”. After praying, Maria says: “Giuseppe, look: there is an old stable over there. Certainly nobody sleeps there. It will certainly be abandoned ”. And so they go there. Inside there is a mule. They also put theirs in front of the manger. Giuseppe collects some wood to light a fire. It also takes a little straw, but the fire goes out immediately because the wood and straw are very humid. Meanwhile Maria tries to warm up near the mules. Subsequently, I was introduced to a second scene. The barn, until then dimly lit, suddenly lights up in daylight. Suddenly near Mary I see the Baby Jesus, just born, who moves his little hands and feet. He has a very sweet face: it seems he is already smiling. Meanwhile, the sky is filled with very bright stars. Above the stable I see two angels holding something like a large flag on which it says: We glorify you, O Lord! Above these two angels there is a huge host of other angels who sing and glorify God. Then, a little far from the stable, I see a group of shepherds guarding their flocks. They are tired and some are already sleeping. And behold, an angel approaches them and says: "Shepherds, hear the good news: today God was born among you! You will find it lying in the manger of that stable. Know that what I tell you is true. " Immediately the shepherds go towards the stable and, having found Jesus, kneel and offer him simple gifts. Mary thanks them gently and adds: "I thank you for everything, but now I would like to pray together with you because many do not want to welcome Jesus who is born". After that, this second scene suddenly disappears before my eyes and a third one appears. I see the Magi in Jerusalem asking for Jesus but nobody knows how to give them information until they see the comet star appear again, guiding them to the stable in Bethlehem. Enraptured and moved, the Magi look at the Child Jesus, bow down to the ground to worship him deeply and then offer him precious gifts.
