SATURDAY OF THE X WEEK OF ORDINARY TIME (ODD YEAR)

Green Liturgical Color
Antiphon
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom will I be afraid of?
The Lord is the defense of my life, whom will I be afraid of?
Just those who hurt me
they stumble and fall. (Ps 26,1-2)

Collection
O God, source of all good,
inspire righteous and holy purposes
and give us your help,
because we can implement them in our life.
For our Lord Jesus Christ ...

First Reading
He who had not known sin, God made him sin in our favor.
From the second letter of St. Paul the Apostle to the Corìnzi
2Cor 5,14-21

Brothers, the love of Christ possesses us; and we know well that one died for all, therefore all died. And he died for all, so that those who live no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died and rose for them.
So that we no longer look at anyone in the human way; if we have also known Christ in the human way, now we no longer know him this way. So much so that if one is in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are gone; here, new ones were born.
However, all this comes from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation. In fact, it was God who reconciled the world to himself in Christ, not attributing their sins to men and entrusting us with the word of reconciliation.
In the name of Christ, therefore, we are ambassadors: through us it is God himself who exhorts. We beg you in the name of Christ: let yourself be reconciled with God. He who had not known sin, God made him sin in our favor, so that in him we could become God's justice.

God's word

Responsorial Psalm
From Ps 102 (103)
R. The Lord is merciful and merciful.
?Or:
R. The Lord is good and great in love.
Bless the Lord, my soul,
how blessed is his holy name in me.
Bless the Lord, my soul,
don't forget all its benefits. R.

He forgives all your faults,
heals all your infirmities,
save your life from the pit,
it surrounds you with kindness and mercy. R.

Merciful and merciful is the Lord,
slow to anger and great in love.
It is not in dispute forever,
he does not remain angry forever. R.

Because how high the sky is on the earth,
so his mercy is powerful on those who fear him;
how far east is from the west,
so he takes away our sins from us. R.

Gospel acclamation
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Bend my heart, O God, towards your teachings;
give me the grace of your law. (Ps 118,36.29b)

Hallelujah.

Gospel
I tell you: don't swear at all.
From the Gospel according to Matthew
Mt 5,33-37

At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
"You also understood that it was said to the ancients:" You will not swear the forgery, but you will fulfill your oaths to the Lord. " But I say to you: do not swear at all, neither for heaven, because it is the throne of God, nor for the earth, because it is the stool of his feet, nor for Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King. Do not swear even by your head, because you don't have the power to make one hair white or black. Instead let your talk: "Yes, yes", "No, no"; the most comes from the Evil One ».
