Miracle of Padre Pio: the Saint gives grace to a spiritual daughter
Mrs. Cleonice - Padre Pio's spiritual daughter said: - “During the last war my nephew was taken prisoner. We did not receive news for a year. Everyone believed him dead. Parents went mad with pain. One day the mother threw herself at the feet of Padre Pio who was in the confessional - tell me if my son is alive. A few days later, my heart, unable to bear the heartfelt cry of the parents, I decided to ask the Father for a miracle, full of faith I said to him: - “Father, I am writing a letter to my nephew Giovannino, with the only name, not knowing where to direct it. You and your Guardian Angel take her where he is. Padre Pio did not reply, I wrote the letter and placed it on the bedside table in the evening before going to bed. The next morning to my surprise, amazement and almost fear, I saw that the letter was gone. I was moved to thank the Father who said to me - "Thank the Virgin". After about fifteen days in the family we wept for joy, we thanked God and Padre Pio: the letter of reply to my letter had arrived from the one who believed himself dead.
