Muslims are much more committed than us Christians in the faith, and in fact they open mosques and we close churches. They pray five times a day, wherever they are spread a mat and prostrating on their knees pray to God with a devotion that leaves you admired, before concluding the prayer prone on the ground, with a bow of the face they offer a greeting to the angel of the Lord on their right and to their left. Day and night they have muezzin singing to God and calling all the people to prayer. For ramadan they fast a month in a row without touching food or water all day and I saw this done in the middle of August and while they worked in the fields without giving any excuse. For them almsgiving to the poor is not voluntary as for us, for them it is a duty and in fact it is the most generous population of all the other faiths. And they have a great sense of God that permeates their whole day, their whole life. their favorite invocation is Allahu Akbar and here I am not talking about who in the name of God kills someone, in the name of God one can only die for someone as Jesus Christ taught us. Acclamation which means God is the greatest. Yes, those Muslims of good will are right, God is truly the greatest and will use these brothers of ours to encourage and prod us to rediscover the beauty of a faith lived with intensity by all the faithful and not delegated only to priests and nuns. the church is not made only by priests or nuns the church is made by all of us. What the Church is today is what we are. Needless to blame this or that. Everyone takes responsibility for their faith, it is this that has led our Church to be what it is. This is why we return to our God, let us know him personally in his Sacred and Living Word, prostrate ourselves to Him as well as they know how to do them as a sign of their submission to God. In fact, being submissive to God really means not being so to anyone else and to anything else. Faith is beautiful and attractive only if it is fervent, suffered and fought in our miseries even before those of others. Thank you our God for giving us brothers who are humiliating us in our faith, but we will recover, yes, for your love, of Jesus Your Son and our Church, we will recover!
