Natuzza Evolo: the messages of the dead and from Heaven

Natuzza-evolo-11

On January 17 an old beggar with dirty and ragged clothes knocked on my door.
I asked, "What do you want"? And the man replied: “No, my daughter, I don't want anything. I came to pay you a visit. "
In the meantime, I noticed that the old man, covered with hanging rags, had incredibly beautiful eyes, they were intense green. I tried to dismiss him quickly and said: "Listen, if we had a bite of bread I would give it to you, but we have nothing, we are poor in everything".
“No my daughter, I'm leaving. Pray for me that I pray for you, "he replied going away with a beautiful smile.
I thought he was an old fool. The angel then said to me: “You are a fool, she hasn't asked you for anything, she hasn't said anything to you, she has raised her hand to bless you. Who could it be? One on the other side! ".
Taken with fear I replied: “Another side where? of the road?".
The angel laughed and in a calm voice said: "It was the Lord ... he showed himself so torn because it is you, the world, who tore it and keep tearing it. It was Jesus. ”
Imagine me, I cried for three days. I had treated Jesus badly, if I knew it was He I would have embraced him!
(testimony of Natuzza Evolo to don Cordiano)

The interesting testimony just reported of Paravati's mystique, Natuzza Evolo, transports us to the extraordinary everyday life of "Mamma Natuzza", as it is still lovingly called and invoked.
In fact, she was in constant contact with the angels (see the article "Natuzza Evolo and the angels"), the deceased and with God.
He received apparitions, messages, admonitions, visits even several times a day, even going so far as to exchange the souls of the deceased for living people: an emblematic case dates back between 1944 and 1945, when the mystique unwittingly made a man flee frightened he introduced himself to her with other people, naively asking him: "Excuse me, but are you alive or are you dead?".
Beside the apparitions, Evolo often fell into a trance wanted by the Lord so that the deceased could communicate to the world through her. The renowned lawyer Silvio Colloca, said of having heard a child's voice coming from Natuzza's mouth, intimating: "Come on. I am your uncle Silvio “.
The lawyer's father had in fact lost an eight-year-old brother in 1874 and in his memory he had named his son.
After the initial loss, Colloca began to dialogue with the child in question, asking for news of his deceased family members. "Don't worry, they're fine," was the reply.
More and more upset by the discussion, the lawyer tried to shake the mystique to reveal a possible trick, but another voice candidly said: “Needless to shake it, it doesn't wake up. Now I have to go, the permit is over. Make a communion for me “.
The amazement has not yet been cleared and another voice appears, this time hoarse and suffering, of one of his Mason relatives: “I died without wanting the Sacraments, as a Mason. I suffer, there is no hope, I am justly condemned to eternal fire ... they are atrocious and frightening sufferings ".

A similar case was that of Don Silipo, a skeptical priest towards Natuzza, who had the opportunity to speak - again through the mysticism of Paravati - with Monsignor Giuseppe Morabito, bishop who had died for days.
"Tell us something about the other world!", He was asked.
The solemn voice replied: "I have known the blindness of this world, now I am in the Beatific Vision".
At these words Don Silipo decided to completely change his mind, as he was the only one aware of the blindness that struck the monsignor in the last days of his life.

These trances became more and more frequent over time and the locals, having learned of the facts, often went to Natuzza with the hope of receiving messages from the afterlife.
Dorotea Ferreri Perri, one of the ladies present, told the writer Valerio Marinelli the following:

I remember that at a certain point the voice of the husband of a woman who was there with us said to her: "You have forgotten me, I would need many prayers, many help". The wife was amazed and grieved, continuing the conversation.
[...] Then a child who died in a car accident, the son of a marquise from Vibo Valentia, presented himself and said: "I am the son of ..." and then: "Mum is traveling, she is about to arrive, however this is my turn, tell her, please, don't cry anymore, don't worry, because I pray for them, I'm close to God and around the angels, I'm in a beautiful place full of flowers. Mom will arrive shortly, tell her that I intervened. "
It wasn't long before the woman arrived and, recognized by those present, everything was reported to her. She was desperate for not being able to hear her son.

Talks with the deceased via trance ended definitively in 1960.
That last occasion is amply described by the firstborn of the mystical children:

A saint's voice appeared, my sister remembers that it was Santa Teresa del Bambin Gesù.
And she started to scold me: "You don't go to mass and you marinate the school", which is true because I often ran away to play cards. "You have to behave differently ...".
Dad then intervened: "You are right to take it back!". But the voice silenced him: "Shut up you blasphemer!".
My father never said a word, feeling guilty for those times he had lost patience.
Then other voices followed; in the end they greeted us saying that this would be the last time they came. "We will resend when you are all reunited".
We thought then that they meant a particular family occasion, but perhaps, with the concept of meeting, they meant something much bigger ...

Despite this hopeful dismissal, the visions of the souls of the dead continued throughout life.
Evolo often spoke of the souls of the powerful, such as that of John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917 - 1963): "It is safe, but many, many suffrages are needed".
He also reported that he often saw the "radiant" soul of Pope Pius XII during liturgical celebrations, describing him as "that tall, thin Pope with long nose and glasses".
Still, she received, on certain occasions, apparitions of the "doctor-saint" Giuseppe Moscati (1880 - 1927), already beatified by Pope Paul VI in 1975, seeing him "dressed in shining glory; that brilliance stemmed from her closeness to Our Lady, and to the many acts of charity that she had accomplished in her life ".
The famous singer Al Bano, who now felt certain of Ylenia's death, did not fail to request information on his missing daughter. Natuzza's response in that circumstance displaced everyone: "She left with a sect, we must pray for her".

Fragments of Heaven
Paravati's mystique never denied advice, a caress or a hug to anyone who came to visit her.
Not infrequently, the advice he gave came from the guardian angel, the Madonna or directly from Jesus.
This was the case of a young man who was undecided whether to marry or give himself totally to the Lord, following his call:

I saw the Madonna and asked her to give me an answer. He replied: "In a moment I will send you the guardian angel and he will tell you what I said to him."
[...] The angel then said to me: “He wants to be faithful with Our Lady or with Jesus, but he must really offer his heart so that everything he wants to do is confirmed by the Lord. May he pray, give good examples, be humble and charitable, showing that he is a faithful son of God and of Our Lady.
There are more fathers and mothers in Heaven than spinsters. Saints can also be done in caves. ”

However, the messages that came from Heaven were not addressed only to individuals, but often dealt with issues concerning all humanity: Evolo herself asked, in times of war, explanations to the Lord regarding the world situation.
Our Lady replied by showing her a very long written list, adding: “See my daughter, this is a list of sins; for peace to return, just as many prayers are needed. "
Even more pressing were the invitations to repentance and the descriptions of Purgatory:

Ask for forgiveness from God for your mortal sins, and with repentance otherwise Justice will never forgive you […], but whoever asks for forgiveness from God is preserved only by eternal fire, the guilt of having to expiate in Purgatory with different penalties: who does false testimony, or he says slander, is condemned to be in the middle of the sea; who does magic in the fire; who swears will be forced to kneel; who is superb in the mud.

Natuzza Evolo, in this continuous direct contact with the Madonna, God and the saints, even received warnings and reproaches for some behaviors: she herself told how St. Francis scolded her for having mainly dedicated the attention in the Church to her statue rather than to the Crucifix.

index.1-300x297The same number of warnings, along with a large number of biblical phrases, came from blood sweats: in fact, mysticism, on certain occasions, sweated blood, and this blood then formed sentences and images on the handkerchiefs used to dry the sweats.
Jesus, Our Lady and their Immaculate Hearts pierced by crosses were spent the protagonists of the mysterious representations; it was also possible to find symbols related to the Holy Spirit, symbols of the martyrs and of San Luigi Gonzaga (1568 - 1591).
The sentences could vary from ancient Greek to Latin, from French to Italian, from German to Spanish, however following a very precise biblical New Testament logic.
Among the numerous donations, the most recurrent - and emblematic - according to the testimony of those present was a passage from the Gospel of Mark (8:36), a clear invitation from God to modern man not to excessively crave wealth and power, but to commit rather on one's spiritual path:

What good is it to man if he gains the world but loses his soul?
