NOVENA OF THE NINE SAINTS FOR A DESPERATE CAUSE

FIRST DAY
On this first day of prayer, I ask for the intercession of all the holy species of St. Pius of Pietrelcina so that he can obtain grace from God's mercy (name grace). Dear Saint Pius, you who have carried the stigmata of the Lord Jesus for fifty years and have experienced suffering in various forms, please intercede with the Lord Jesus to help me in this desperate cause. Dear Saint Pio, who always prayed to Our Lady, pray now also to the heavenly mother to protect me and help me in this evil of my life.

SECOND DAY
On this second day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the holy species of Saint Rita of Cascia so that she can intercede at the throne of God and obtain grace (name grace). Dear Saint Rita you who in life have been a mother, wife, widow and nun and have experienced every suffering I ask you to intervene in my life and to help me in this desperate situation. Dear Saint Rita you who are invoked as Saint of impossible causes, please help me, to intercede for me with the Lord Jesus and Mother Mary and may obtain the grace that I ask of you. Please Saint Rita and all Saints of God pray for me and ask God to help me in this desperate cause.

THIRD DAY
On this third day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the holy species of St. Jude Thaddeus so that for their prayer he may obtain grace (name grace). Saint Jude Thaddeus you who have been an apostle of the Lord Jesus and have lived close to him I ask you to intervene in my life and to help me in this desperate cause. St. Jude Thaddeus you who are invoked in lost and desperate causes I now invoke you wholeheartedly and ask for your intercession with God so that I can be helped in this desperate cause. St. Jude Thaddeus you who are powerful in heaven pray to the Mother of God to place me under her maternal mantle and help me in this difficult situation.

FOURTH DAY
On this fourth day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the saints especially of Saint Anthony of Padua so that for their powerful prayer he may obtain grace (name grace). Dear Saint Anthony of Padua you who in earth life have been a strong preacher of the gospel, have performed many miracles and have spread the gospel in many parts of the world I now ask for your help, your intercession, I ask for your prayer in this desperate cause of my life. Dear Saint Anthony of Padua you who were a devotee of the Eucharist I promise to imitate you in this devotion and to make the Sacraments of Confession and Communion the source of my life but now I ask for your powerful intercession with the Lord Jesus and mother Mary to obtain the grace I ask for.

FIFTH DAY
On this fifth day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the saints especially for Saint Faustina so that for their prayers and their supplications she may obtain grace (name grace). Dear Saint Faustina, you who have experienced the pains and sufferings, I ask your prayer to the throne of God to help me in this difficult cause. Dear Saint Faustina, you who were Apostle of Mercy and you saw the Lord Jesus, please intercede with Merciful Jesus so that he may accept my humble prayer and help me in this desperate situation.

SIXTH DAY
On this sixth day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the holy species of Saint Bernadette so that for their supplications and prayers she may obtain grace (name grace). Dear Saint Bernadette you who on this earth had the grace to see the Virgin Mary and now to enjoy her for eternity I ask for your intercession for this desperate cause. Dear Saint Bernadette you who gave origin to the indication of Our Lady the source of the water of Lourdes where numerous healings have taken place, please give me the faith that you had in the Virgin and that for your prayer may obtain this grace important to me.

SEVENTH DAY
On this seventh day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the holy species of Saint Teresa of Calcutta so that for their prayers and their supplications she may obtain grace (name grace). Dear Saint Teresa of Calcutta, you who were called by the Lord Jesus as an example of Christianity and you gave support to every poor person, please have pity on this situation of mine, intercede with God, pray for me, beg the Lord to fulfill this desperate and difficult cause of mine . Dear Saint Teresa of Calcutta, you and your sisters prayed every day for hours and hours to the Holy Rosary to the Holy Virgin, please intercede with the Mother of God so that she will hear me and free me from this evil.

EIGHTH DAY
On this eighth day of prayer I ask for the intercession of all the holy species of St. Joseph Moscati so that for their prayers and their supplications he may obtain grace (name grace). Dear St. Joseph Moscati you on this earth passed by healing the bodies of so many poor people I beg you for your power at the throne of God to present this difficult cause of mine. I am experiencing a desperate situation but I know that I can count on your fraternal help and your intercession with the Lord Jesus. I pray to you dear St. Joseph Moscati, pray to the Lord for me and make sure that I can obtain the grace I ask for.

NINTH DAY
On this ninth and final day of prayer I ask for the intercession of the Queen of all Saints, Mary Most Holy. Holy Mother today I address this prayer to you so that I may obtain grace (name grace). Holy Mother I promise to put God first in my life and to always participate in the sacraments of the Church but I ask you out of pity to free me from this difficult cause. Holy Mother I know that you now intervene in my life and according to the will of God act for me. Thank you Holy Mother, grace to all the holy brothers who preceded me in Paradise and prayed with me and for me. I will always be faithful to the commandments and to the Lord Jesus but I ask God to free me from this evil. Amen
