Today is the first Sunday of Advent, so let us pray to Baby Jesus

O Baby Jesus,
as we prepare with joy during
these days of Advent
to commemorate your birth
and Your arrival in the future,
we ask for Your grace to be able to do everything necessary
so that you can find in our heart and in our soul,
a clean place to live.

We firmly believe that You are among us,
and you have never abandoned us,
especially in this pandemic period.
And you continue to give yourself selflessly
especially in the Most Holy Eucharist,
to nourish us, console us and strengthen us.

We also ask you to console all those who suffer
for illness, poverty,
both material and spiritual; those who are in trouble;
all those who are dying.

Protect us all from harm.
Give us the strength to ward off the enemy.
Give us the patience to carry the Cross.
Our faith, hope and love in you always increase in us,
So, as we walk through this life,
We can serve and glorify You in everything we do.

Holy Child,
have mercy on us all, we love you!
