Palermo, young man announces the Gospel and the dumb girl speaks. A miracle

It was up to Father Antonio, Franciscan of the last friars, from the altar of the Church of San Francesco di Padova, in Palermo, during the homily of the Mass, to tell the miraculous episode. A girl who had never spoken, found the word, after the invocation of a young unknown man who for some minutes had been trying to proclaim the Gospel without success, because he was prevented by a passenger. Because everything took place during the tram ride in Palermo.

The friar's story is amazing. The girl was on the tram, sitting on her father's legs. On the way, a young man got up and said, "I have to announce the gospel." The child's father's reaction was abrupt: "Sit down," he imposed on him. The young man obeyed. But after a few minutes he repeated the attempt. "I want to announce the Gospel". And at this point, the girl's father, furious at the insistence, confirmed the order: "Sit down, and keep quiet."

But the young man did not hold back, He let the passenger's anger simmer and repeated "I want to announce the Gospel", for the third time. The parent's reaction was fierce. From intimation, he went on to threats. But it was at that moment that the little girl, having freed herself from her father's embrace, said: "Dad, why don't you make him talk ..." Hearing it, the man threw himself on his knees and broke into a tears.

"My daughter was not talking, and now she is talking," he shouted.
