Is Pope Francis dying? Let's be clear

The correspondent of Newsmax laid down by the White House and political commentator John Gizzi wrote an article in which he stated that Papa Francesco "Is dying" and that the Vatican he does not expect it to survive after 2022. The article adds that the Vatican is preparing for a conclave.

Gizzi said his source is a secretary of one of the Vatican's most powerful cardinals. However, it is not possible to trace the source which is provided by a paid site. We try to clarify the data we have available.

Is Pope Francis Really Dying?

To answer this question is 'the Catholic traveler' via social media or the organizer and leader of the Catholic pilgrimage of the Butorac mountain.

Butorac's post ironically reads: “I would like to thank the excellent journalist who wrote the article saying that Pope Francis will die in the next 13 months. I've been answering questions about it all afternoon ”.

“Pope Francis is 84 years old, has a lung and has recently undergone a major surgery. Isn't it really an exaggeration to make this claim every year? Furthermore, the Vatican is always in pre-conclave mode. Didn't they put all these things together in some way? "

To date, Newsmax correspondent John Gizzi, appears to be the only source to report an alleged possible death of Pope Francis in the coming months which, however, is in strong, very strong contrast with his public activity manifested, since only this year the Pope he made three apostolic journeys: in Iraq, Hungary e Slovakia, and recently a Cyprus.

Even if the death of the Holy Father is always possible, as nature teaches us, we trust in God's plan rather than worry about something that has not yet happened or rely on unfounded rumors.
